Mei POV

     Sometimes I believed Kris would change and just accept that we just weren't right for eachother without us having to fight but I guess that's just a dream that must wait for another day. I can't even count on my hands the numerous times I have caught him with other women but when the man I love shows up i'm trapped like some kind of slave. Why must I have my heart torn to peices while he just sits back and watches?I refuse to live like this. I understand that I promised my family to be his wife and all but that's all I promised. Never did I promise to love him or be faithful. Not even at our wedding.

"Mrs.Wu you have a visitor" my assistants voice sang through the intercom as I pressed the button to let them in.

"Send them in" I sighed through the intercom.

"Why so mellow" a husky voice chuckled."Yixing" I mumbled as I looked up to find him standing there before me dressed in a sleek and fitted black blazer and dress pants to match.

"Mrs.Wu" he sighed still standing there as perfect as ever. I could feel my eyes begin to burn with tears as the memories of the past began to flood into my mind "Mei" his velvet voice filled my ears as he walked towards me.

"I'm so sorry" I choked as tears began to slip from my eyes.

"Mei" he sighed as he began to walk toward me.

"I'm so, so sorry Yixing" I whimpered as he pulled me into his embrace.

"I know you were forced to marry him, I know it all so don't feel sorry" he comforted as he rubbed the back of my head while bawled into his shoulder. I couldn't even reply to him I was so distraught by my own actions. 

"I missed you so much I thought I was going to die" I sniffled as I pulled back to face the man who's eyes were brimmed with tears.

"I've died a little more everyday since you left" he whispered as he pressed his forehead against mine.

"I love you" I whispered as I placed a light kiss on his forehead.

"I love you too. No matter how much I tried not to I just couldn't stop loving you" he sighed as he cupped my cheek with his hand. I grasped his hand in mine as he ran his other one through my hair."Do you love Kris?"

"No" I sighed "How could I love a man who tore me away from you?"
