I was being moulded to be the girl I wasn’t pleased to become. I needed to be by his side whenever he brings me to one of his social functions. I had to act like we really loved each other and hell he was one of a great actor. He could win an Oscar if he wanted to. I had to smile and mingle with the people he knew. He would introduce me as his fiancée and he adore and praise me.

It was fake. He was fake. Everything was fake.

I was sipping my wine when I saw Fei enter the hall. I almost spilled my wine. She looked stunning in her tight red gown. She looked like the belle of the ball. My insecurities started to flare up. Kris suddenly approaches her and kisses her cheek.

Okay. That’s it. I’m not going to be a masochist anymore.

I went to the balcony because I needed air. I don’t want to see them. As I was busy with my thoughts, a man stands by my side

“what’s a gorgeous young lady like you doing here?” he asks

“I needed some air” I say and look up

The scoots a little closer to me “are you cold?” he says “I’m Luhan by the way”

I take his hand for a hand shake “nice to meet you”

He places his coat on my shoulders “you might catch a cold” he smiles

I look at him and smile “thank you, Luhan.”

“I’m giving you 3 seconds to remove your coat off her” a voice I knew so well said

I slowly remove Luhan’s coat on me “thank you, Luhan.” I smile and give it to him

“you’re very welcome.” Luhan says and takes the coat and leaves.

When Luhan was gone I started to walk away from Kris.

“I don’t want other men touching what’s mine.” He grips on my arm

“I’m not yours.” I snap

“you are and you will always be.” His voice was laced with venom

“at lease I’m not flirting with other women.” I push him

“where do you think you’re going?” he yelled

“that is none of your freaking business” I yelled back and head for the parking lot.
