As all the F4 had sports car with them and each vehicle could only seat two, so the pairing was like this: Jan Di and Jun Pyo, Yi Jung and Ga Eul, Ji Hoo and Mandy and Woo Bin and Niya.

As Niya was staying with Mandy for the week, Woo Bin dropped her at the apartment building.

“Thank you for the ride” Niya said as she got they got out of the car. Woo bin and Niya had reached the building before Ji Hoo and Mandy and had parked in the visitors’ parking space. There was an awkward silence between them.

“You can go, I’ll wait by her door for her to get back” Niya said, wanting this uncomfortable feeling to go away.

“I think I should stay; Mandy would kill me if I left her best friend unguarded” he joked

“Aren’t your men around?” Niya asked

“You know about them?” Woo Bin asked

“She tells me everything” Niya said

“No, they are not here today; Mandy asked me to give them the day off” Woo Bin said

Niya chuckled “Just like her”

“So, she tells you everything?” Woo Bin asked

“Uh huh” Niya said nodding her head

“Then did she…?”

“Yep, she told me about you asking her out; twice”

“Oh, yeah that”

“So why did you ask her out?”

“I don’t know; she just seemed different from all the other girls I’ve met so far. She wouldn’t take from anyone and not act like a ‘butterfly’” he said the last part chuckling a little

“She really hates butterflies; but is fascinated by the real ones” Niya commented

“She is?” Woo Bin wondered

“She loves photography and butterflies are her favorite subject; and flowers; overall everything that intrigues her she clicks it but she started off with these two” Niya said

After a few moments’ silence, Niya spoke up “So do you still…?”

“Like her?” Woo Bin completed her question “No, not in the sense you’re thinking. She is to me like Jan Di and Ga Eul are to me”

“What changed?” Niya asked

“I don’t know, I think I was just intrigued by her unusual personality. I don’t think I really liked her too, coz if I did I would’ve convinced her to go out with me” he said with a smirk.

“Over-confident much” Niya said

“No, just confident; and also added to the fact that I would never make a move on my friend’s girl”

“Mandy and Ji Hoo are not together”

“That doesn’t mean he doesn’t like her”

“Has he said anything?”

“He doesn’t need to. I’ve known him since kindergarten; I think I can tell when he likes a girl and when not”

“They are just friends; just because a guy is close to a girl, doesn’t mean that he likes her”

“I know that, but Ji Hoo is not like that; he is friends with Ga Eul and Jan Di but he definitely has deeper feelings for Mandy.” Woo Bin finished

There was again a silence between them

“But don’t tell Mandy what I told you; I’m also wrong sometimes” he said with a flirty smile

Niya didn’t react much outwardly but inside she was contemplating what he had said

Just then Ji Hoo and Mandy drove to a halt in front of them.

“What took you so long? I’m freezing here” Woo Bin asked

“You are the one who drives really fast” Mandy said as she got out of the car. “Come on, let’s go” she said to Niya; said her goodbyes to Woo Bin and Ji Hoo and started walking towards the elevator. Niya also said awkward goodbyes and turned around to follow Mandy, when Woo Bin called out to her

“Niya-ssi, I hope you can keep a secret” he said with a devilish smile

Niya didn’t respond to it and turned back around towards the building.

“What was that about?” Mandy asked as they were waiting for the elevator

“Nothing, just about that acquisition” she smoothly lied

“Oh, right. It’ll be so cool; you will be working with Bhai” Mandy said

“I don’t know, he seems kind of weird; he makes me feel uneasy”

“Bhai? As far as I can tell, he is the most easygoing person. You probably were feeling so because of your new relationship” Mandy said

“What relationship?” Niya asked

“You know, he’ll be your boss now. But it’ll be fine; and if he gives you a hard time, tell me, I’ll take care of it” Mandy said jokingly

“I think I can handle him” Niya said confidently as they entered the elevator.

The two girls spent the whole hour talking and finally fell asleep due to the exhaustion.
