It's been 3 years. Aki already finished her third year in Sophia. She’s doing good. Living abroad for one year actually give her many experiences. She improved drastically, especially in speaking. Aki glad that she took the challenge to go there just after graduated from school. Now she working as a freelance translator, or interpretor. She sometimes work with delegations from other countries to Japan for some bussinesses, sometimes she translate english books into japanese, or from japanese to english. Few book publisher already acknowledge her, and she is among their favourite translator.

One day, Aki got a call from someone, it was a company that become an agent for the international celebrities who come to Japan for concerts or fiilming. The guy introduced himself as Asada Ken. Asada asked Aki to be the official interpretor for Backstreet Boys when they come to Japan. They going to have a 2 days concert and appear on Music Station show. Aki was delighted to accept the job. She never meet Backstreet Boys even though they were in Japan few times before, and she is one of their fans. After making sure that she is available to work on the dates mentioned by Mr Asada, she accept the job.

Aki went to Mr. Asada’s office to discuss about her work. After sort out the plans for her work, she went to greet the Backstreet Boys. It was the firt time in her life to meet them. She’s been their fan since in grade school. Aki noticed that the Backstreet Boys are no longer boys, they look like uncles, but of course a bunch of cool uncles. She still love them and their songs as she used to. After introducing herself as their interpretor,all of them were brought to attend a briefing and rehearsal for the music show, Music Station. Aki explain everything from the briefing session.

It is the first time for Yuto to attend Music Station alone. He debuted as solo after 3 years with his group Hey Say Jump(HSJ). Even though it is only a single project for him to sing solo, he feel glad to be entrusted with it. Yuto love HSJ so much and would always prefer group performance, but he take it as challenge and as a new experience.

Rather than feels nervous, he’s more on the can’t-wait feeling. Yuto was informed that they’ll be Backstreet Boys as hi co-guest, of course AKB too. But he always love BSB’s songs. They’re not his favourite international singer, but still he likes them. He occasionally listen to them since his school days.

Yuto is going for rehearsal 3 hours prior to the show. When he was about to take his turn on the stage, he noticed someone, a familiar face, but the girl was on the other side of the stage and the crews was in the way for him to be able to see her properly. He decide to shrug it off once since he need to focus on his stage. Everything went fine during rehearsal. Yuto go back to his waiting room to have her hair done and wearing his costume . The Music Station crew already called him for the line up. Yuto went and he saw the girl again. This time he is fully recognize the girl.

“She’s doing well, and become prettier.”  He said and smile as his name was called as the show started. Every guests went down the stairs and had been introduced. Backstreet Boys come last, and he notice the girl steal a glance over him. He noticed it since he did it too. Their eyes meet for a brief moment before Tamori the host start welcoming them and introducing the first performer, and the rest went to the seat while waiting for their turn.

The show went very smoothly. All of the guests went back to their waiting room. Yuto decide to go and greet BSBs after receiving an OK from their manager. He went, and eventually meet her. Aki was there assisting BSBs for after event procedures. Yuto greeted the BSBs and they return it as friendly as they always are. Yuto decide to try out his english and talk to them. It was good. Not that excellent, but good in term of pronounciation and vocabulary. He later excuse himself as he do not wish to buy much of their time. He fully understand that how hectic they are since they just arrive in Tokyo this morning and went on with packed schedule for the whole day.

Aki was surprise when she heard Nakajima Yuto’s name been called. She have no idea of who are the other guest until the broadcasting time. While fllowing the BSBs going down the stairs, she stole a glance to where Yuto was standing and noticed he also was looking at her. She quickly look away and paid attention to the whole show. To her job to be exact.

When Yuto come to greet BSBs she’s surprise by his english. The last time she met Yuto, it was the Yuto that don’t like english. But now he can speak english. She also excuse herself shortly after Yuto did. She look for Yuto and gather her strength to knock on his door. Before she did, a voice startled her. Aki turn to the voice, and there Nakajima Yuto is smiling very widely. Her heart skipped a beat, yet she feel relieved when he acted like this. This is definitely the same Nakajima Yuto she knew from their school days. Cheerful.

Since both of them are free after the show, Yuto invited her for dinner. It’s already late for dinner but she accepted it anyway. They went to one restaurant Yuto recommended. Keeping up on each other for the last 3 years. Yuto said he’s already continuing his studies. He’s doing a part time mode since work demand is pretty tough. But already done with his first year. Aki glad to hear that, since she know Yuto is a bright student and it will be a waste if he didn’t further his studies. They exchange their current numbers and later Yuto send her home.

Aki will be assisting BSBs as interpretor for the second day of their concert. She have to be at the hall as early as 4pm even though the concert will start at 7pm. She rushed there and manage to be on time. After briefing and final check up, they are ready to perform. After the long hours of performance, the concert reached the end. BSBs bid goodbye to their japanese fans. Aki went to the backstage and she met Yuto again. Apparently BSBs invited him for their concert as special guest, and he is also given the backstage pass. They’re done with the post-mortem and wrap up the concert. Aki walked out of the hall by herself. She decline the after concert party as she’s too tired. Mr Asada offered her the company’s car to send her home but she can’t accept it since they might need it more than her. So she decide to go by herself. While walking along the way to the exit, suddenly Yuto appeared.  He sigh while looking at her.

“Yappa, i knew it you’re going to go home alone. Come, i’ll give you a ride, remember i don’t trust you walking alone at this hour..” He’s nagging.

“Ok then..” Aki immediately agreed, she know there’s no use to decline that.

Along the way home, both of them did not talk much. Aki eventually fall asleep. They reached Aki’s place. Yuto noticed Aki is sleeping peacefully that he couldn’t bring himself to wake her up. So he decide to let her sleep a bit more before waking her up. While waiting for her, he can’t help but to stare at her face. She looks maturer than the last time. She looks tired, but she also seems very peaceful now. Slowly his hand make its way toward her face, only few inches before reaching her face, Aki stirred in her sleep. Yuto surprised, he quickly withdraw his hand, his heart is racing. Aki woke up. She observed around and suddenly realize where she is. She quickly trying to get up but stuck by the seat belt. She groan in pain, and then apologize  for falling asleep.

“How long did i fall asleep?  Must be long right, I’m sorry i’m sorry, i make you wait this long, you must feel very tired right?” She said that in one breath.

Yuto chuckled by her reaction, and said.

“No it’s ok Aki, I don’t mind, tomorrow is my off day anyway.”

But Aki still feel bothered by it. She excused herself. When she was about to step out of the car, Yuto abruptly pulled her arm and she’s startled. She look at Yuto demanding the reason.

“Do you have boyfriend at the moment?” he asked

“No.” Was her only answer before Yuto asked her to come to a certain place tomorrow, and let her go.

She can’t help but feel really curious with Yuto.

Aki reached at Saboten Cafe 5 minutes early. Yuto no where to be seen. After waiting for 10 minutes. Someone called her from behind. She quickly recognize the voice, she turn to face him.

 “You’re late!  Why you asked me to come here, can i help you with anything Nakajima Yuto?”

“Actually yes, Can you be my girlfriend?” he asked.

Aki was surprised to hear that. She was sure the line is familiar, and said,

“Another girlfriend act?”

“Ah, I’m sorry, i messed up with my line. I’ll say it again. Amano Aki, wii you be my wife? This is for real, i don’t want any fake wife, i want a real one. So will you be my wife?”

Aki was speechless. Tears welling up in her eyes and flooding in a second. She stand still. Yuto slowly step toward her. Eventually close their gap with a warm hug. She didn’t refuse.

“Can i consider that as a Yes?”

He can feel a nod from Aki in his embrace. Yuto pulled away, thumb away her tears and said,

“I don’t know Amano Aki can cry..” before he finished his words, Aki pinch his arm violently.

“This is my Aki. My violent Aki is back..” he said while grinning.

“I’m not violent, Yuto..” She said while pouting. Yuto smiled hearing her calling him by his name for the first time.

Yeyy mission accomplish. First fanfic ever. It is good to be able to write a story. Even crappy story like this can make me feel contented. I might write again after this. Sorry for grammtical error, been long since i attend english class. Sorry for the typo.
