Beautiful memory

L was having a dream. Since his birth, his family ostracized him. No one liked or respected a half-crow with grey feathers!
Crows are meant to be black! He lived in shadows and his own world. But when he was about five years old, he met her…
”Hello! Who are you?” the young girl asked him.
“Me? I'm L.” he replied fearfully.
She smiled brightly. “Cool name! L… I'm ________! Remember okay?” She burst into laughter, a sunny smile on your face.
He stared at you, his face turning red.
“Oh! I heard you have grey wings!!! Wow!!! Can I see them?” She bounced up and down.
He shook his head firmly, “No. No. Nobody can see them.”
“Huh? Why?” She sat down next to him under the tree.
“They’re ugly. No crow has grey wings.” L frowned.
“Oh… That's kinda sad… But who says grey wings are ugly?” She wrinkled her nose as she made a flower chain out of the beautiful purple flowers that fell from the tree.
“Everyone.” L watched her fingers work quickly as she weaved the stems of the flowers into a chain.
“Well, I didn't say that, so show me!”
She was one persistent girl. After a while, L gave in and spread his wings wide open.
“WOW!!! IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!” The girl gasped in awe, her eyes full of admiration.
She looked at him and beamed happily.
“You know something? You have grey wings not because you're ugly. In fact, you're more beau
