Politeness is a virtue, you believed.

They looked human enough, although one of them had cat ears. But then, again, you were already used to countless surprises in the school.

The one with cat ears crossed her arms and spluttered crossly, “Don't think that just because the kingkas of AFTG surround you, you can act so high and mighty!”

The crowd below, no doubt supporting fans, cheered.

Wow, my humiliation is complete.

“Yeah! Don't think that they would be interested in a disgusting HUMAN like you!” The other girl stepped forward and glared at you.

Upon hearing these aloof words, more of your memories gushed in.

A smile emerged from your lips.

Ah, I remember now… Why my memories had to be wiped out. Why I had to live as a DISGUSTING human.

“Disgusting human? HA!” You laughed in their faces.

“HA! HA! HA!” Your detached laughter petrified them and the crowd below.

“What’s going on?” You heard L’s panicky, loud voice below.

“L!!!” The crowd gasped and silence followed. Their eyes shifted uneasily to the scene above.

L and the rest looked up too, where you were still laughing hysterically.

“HA! HA!” You were overpowered by uncontrollable laughter and giggles.

“She’s mad!” Someone from the crowd hollered, earning 7 glares from L and the rest.

L narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.
