"Celaena, wait up!" Says a man out of breath.

"Hi Deasung, you're not supposed to be here. Your fans will see you and that will be the end of getting away quietly without anyone seeing you or me." She says as she continues to walk.

"Please just listen." He says as he grabs her arm and drags her into a side alley near Seoul. "Celaena you're special to me...to all of us. Please don't leave us--I beg you."

She looks at him with anger or something deeper than that--was it rage? She couldn't tell but she was royally pissed. "How could you, how could all of you expect me to make a choice? I just can't do that. Just one of you..I like you--no. Love you all. I can't make a choice. I have to do this. So please don't make it any harder than this is."

He stares at her and whispers . "Why, Celaena?" As tears begin to roll down his face.

"You know none of this would have happened..if..if I just let it go. But no, I am to darn stubborn to let something so simple go..." She says as she puts her hands in her hair and sighs.

"No..don't say that.." He wipes his eyes and waits for her to say something.

She looks at him and whispers. "Face it, this pain wouldn't have happened if I wasn't so stubborn."

He looks into the street and then looks back to Celaena and says, "Too many people are starting to stare. I should go--you should too...I'll talk to you some other time?"

She looks and slowly nods her head.
