He awakens, and blinks, still groggy. The meal comes, and he grabs it, still very hungry. Another comes, he watches as the food goes beside him. Sounds like his are heard, and he looks over to the other cage. A figure in the cage eats the food as hungry as him. He growls, and bangs on the wall between them. The figure looks up, face full of food. Fingers drag down, he's hungry. Both sets of food are gone, and figure looks at him. The figure stands, and walks to the connecting wall. Hair is all over the place, covering the eyes. Clothes from the old ward sit loosely on the body. He can see the figure's female, and still growls at her.
She growls back, whipping her hair back to show wild eyes. They stare, observing serving each other. He growls lowly, and pushes off the glass. He moves to the back corner of the cage, watching her. She moves herself, exploring the cage, hitting the glass to see if it would break. It doesn't, it never does. He laughs, it's demented, like deep voiced hyena. She lunges at him, her nails making some impression in the glass. She growls, as he staggers back over. He traces her face threw the glass, crosses it out, and laughs his twisted laugh again.
