KNOCK~ KNOCK~

it was so rare for LuHan to have a guest in the morning. he walked to his front door. he opened just to be greeted by a smiling face

“good morning”

“Kris?”

LuHan directly remembered about his promise to Kris. well, Kris asked him to forgive him and Kris will do anything to pay his mistake in the past. LuHan let Kris took the chance. bad luck (?) for LuHan, one thing that Kris will do is go out for a date with him. well, not a date like lovers just kind of hang around

“ready to go?” Kris asked cheerfully

“uhm..wait a minute... let me change first…” he just turned his body to walk inside his house when Kris suddenly said

“you’re already beautiful with that outfit, Lu..” Kris said just to get a scary glare from LuHan

“ups.. sorry.. no sweet words…i know”

yeah, LuHan didn’t accept Kris easily. he gave lots of ‘rule’ to Kris, such as no sweet words, no touching, no holding hand, no looking into each other eyes more than 5 seconds, and the more important is no feeling

those are what LuHan kept repeating in his mind now when he looked at his reflection in the mirror.

“it’s okay LuHan… no feeling… you just need to forgive him and act normally to him… no feeling…”

LuHan checked once again his look before he approached Kris who waited cheerfully beside his car. Kris smiled widely when he saw LuHan came out. LuHan kept a cold and blank face to him. Kris knew LuHan just tried to block his feeling. Kris didn’t care anyway. Kris will keep trying even LuHan only gave coldness to him. Kris will keep trying until LuHan loves him again.

Tao? Kris couldn’t think about anything else except LuHan right now. Kris knew that what he did was wrong. it will hurt him, LuHan and Tao. but for now he didn’t want to think about it. Kris just wanted to enjoy his time with LuHan now. he already had lots of plan to make LuHan smile again to him.

“stop grinning like an idiot like that” LuHan’s voice snapped him out of his happy thought

“huh?”

“stop grinning like that and focus to the road” LuHan rolled his eyes

“oh yeah… sorry…” Kris smiled to LuHan who just looked away, avoided Kris’ killing smile

“so, which place you want to go today?”

“hmm… i don’t know… let me think…” LuHan paused to think “Namsan Tower?”

Kris chuckled “you sure you want to go there?”

“yeah… since i came back from Paris, i haven’t go there”

“aye aye captain”

Kris surprised LuHan who sat while watching the beautiful view in front him

“what’s this?”

“curly potato and sausage… special from Namsan… you never ate this too?” Kris said as he gave one to LuHan and took a seat beside LuHan

“nope… i’ve told you… i haven’t come here for a long time” LuHan said and took a bite of the potato

“whoa… it’s delicious” LuHan giggled for the first time today. and Kris was so happy seeing that, he smiled while looking at LuHan’s face

felt that a pair of eyes looking at him more than 5 second, LuHan snapped out

“hey.. rules!!” he said while kept eating

Kris directly looked away and joined Luhan watching the beautiful view in front of them. they ate in silence.

“how’s … your mother?” LuHan broke the silence first

“she’s fine”

“oh”

“she’s with my father in heaven now… so i think she’s fine”

LuHan directly looked at Kris “w-what…d-do you mean…”

Kris looked at LuHan and smiled “my mother passed away three years ago”

Kris looked down onto his laps and continued “she was a strong woman… but the disease was more stronger. i think it’s the best for her. she had already suffered because of that disease ofr years. now, she’s already rest in peace. i guess she’s better now”

Kris straighten up his head when he felt a hand above his left hand

“i’m sorry…” LuHan squeezed Kris’ hand “i shouldn’t ask…”

“it’s okay” Kris smiled to LuHan and held LuHan’s hand back

need a few seconds for LuHan to realize that he just broke his own rule: no holding hand. LuHan immediately pulled his hand and kept it in his own laps

“uhm.. what about you?” Kris asked “how’s your parents?”

LuHan sighed heavily before spoke up “Papa is also in heaven now. while Mama chose to live with Aunt Amber in USA after Papa passed away”

now it’s Kris’ turn to look at LuHan with sympathy eyes “i’m sorry”

LuHan smiled at Kris “it’s okay… i also think that this is the best… especially for me”

“huh?”

“yeah… since he passed away, i feel… free” LuHan chuckled “i am a bad son”
