"It's a pleasure to see you again, Miss. Park." Youngsoo's teacher greeted as she held onto Jae Young's hand with a smile. Jae Young nodded with a smile as she saw her son running around the place. "Oh," the teacher uttered while looking passed her shoulder, "and who may this be?" Jae Young looked back and smiled before turning back to the teacher. "Youngsoo's father." Jongin smiled and reached to shake the teachers hand. "Kim Jongin, pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Jung." The teacher smiled and nodded, motioning the two to go ahead in.

"Mommy, daddy!" Youngsoo shouted as he came both of his parents. Jae Young smiled as she bent down to his level. "Hi, honey. Were you have fun?" Youngsoo nodded as Jongin ruffled his son's hair. "Come, mommy, daddy!" Youngsoo grabbed ahold of both Jongin and Jae Young's hand as he led them to the table he was sitting at.

"Jae Young, such a pleasure to see you again!" Youngsoo's friends mother exclaimed. Jae Young smiled kindly as she despised her just a bit. In the past, she made comments on her raising a child on her own. To Jae Young's point of view, not all mothers have a husband or boyfriend to help raise a child like others. "It's a pleasure to see you again also, Min Hee." She replied back. Min Hee looked to the left of Jae Young and smiled, "And who might this be? One of your boyfriends?" Jae Young formed her hand into a fist as she smiled bitterly.

"Matter of fact, yes," she replied as she looked to Jongin, "And also Youngsoo's father, Jongin. Babe, that is Min Hee, Minhwa's mother."

"Really? He looks a little too young to be Youngsoo's father." Min Hee sat there with a little snort as Jongin shook his head and yanked softly on Jae Young's hand. "How old are you anyway, Jongin? Eighteen?" Jongin scoffed as Jae Young leaned closer against the table.  "No, he's not actually. He's twenty-four, a well-grown and matured man who stepped up and gave himself the rights to be the father figure of Youngsoo. I might have been a single parent raising our child alone, but that job of mine is no longer in service to me anymore. I'm sorry, Min Hee, your words is very immature of you to say to me. I tolerated the fact that you teased and called me out as a single mother with no father figure in my son's life. In fact, I never mentioned Youngsoo to Jongin since our break up nearly six years. Not everyone has the perfect life like you do, Min Hee, especially all th

Chapter 11: That Min Hee is such a b*tch. Good thing Jaeyoung hadn't stayed silent and just let it pass. Judgmental people need to be shut down to learn some lessons. Anyway, this chapter is lovely.. I can feel Youngsoo's happiness through his speech, having both of his parents at his school activity... Thank you, authornim, for sharing this 💚

Chapter 8: Hmm.. So old feelings are still there... 🤔 I understand that it's quite hard to get back to their relationship after so many years have passed, but I'm hoping they will be honest with themselves soon. I'm having a feeling that little Youngsoo will play a big part in his parents' reunion. 🤭😍
