Welcome to Halcyon Review Shop!

In this shop, we will provide you with useful critiques and helpful advice. We don’t use a rubric, because that seems intimidating. Instead we will write reviews in paragraph form. Our goal is to help you improve your story, along with your writing. 

Please keep in mind that we are trying to help improve your story. If we are harsh or say something you don’t like, we aren’t trying to be mean. If you want a useful critique, we won’t fluff it up. We will provide you with useful and constructive criticism. I believe that the only way to improve your writing skills is to receive a straight-forward review. If there is a story that we find is exceptional, we will feature it below.

Please note that we spend a lot of time on your reviews. We love feedback on letting us know how we did. Please don't be silent subscribers! Let us know if our critiquing was satisfactory. No bashing though.
