"Why not Akira?"

"Yutaka, I just don't think-"

"What you think I'm not ready?" Kai raised his voice a bit, "but I am ready, we're ready." Kai pouted cutely, a pout he knew not even Reita could resist.

"It's not that, I know you're ready but-"

"Akira, we're over thirty already and we're not getting any younger!" Kai tugged on Reita's arm.

"I know that," Reita sighed once again. Kai had been persistent on this issue for over a month now and Reita would've been more than happy to comply with Kai's request, it's just that Reita, himself, didn't think they were read for this. Not one bit; so why couldn't Kai see that?

"I get it, you just don't want to have kids with m-me," Kai started sniffling rather hard and Reita knew what that meant. And if the water works started he would never see the end of it.

"No, no Kai, you know very well that nothing would make me happier than to have kids with you. It’s just that with the band and the concerts we wouldn't be able to tend to them and-"

"The band can help, they can come on tour with us and they would be constantly with us and it's not like we don't have the money,"

"Alright if you're so set on this then fine, let's have children," Kai couldn't help but beam with joy, Reita had finally said yes. "But on one condition," if this was going to happen then Reita should at least have some say in it. Even if he hadn't of said yes, somehow Kai would have still ended up adopting children.

"Mmhmn! Anything," Kai nodded his head rapidly, almost like a small child.

"They have to be older than 12."

"Alright! But, why?" Kai tilted his head slight confused, "why not a baby or a toddler?"

"It'll be like a trial period," pulling Kai onto his lap, while Kai just giggled, "if you can handle teenagers, then there is no doubt in my mind that you can handle babies," Reita said finally as he tapped Kai lightly on the nose with his index finger.
