JANUARY 4. THURSDAY

MUSIC ROOM; 8:58 A.M.

 With Mr Psy in front of the class, the school orchestra is playing through a new piece- a new year, a new teacher. Krystal is among the group

of student, playing her cello. Her left hand fingers the pattern of notes while her right hand hold the bow, but it feels as if her hands

belong to someone else and she is merely attached to them. 

"More energy!", the music teacher calls over the rising sound.

After the piece is over and the teacher is giving comments, Suzy turns around, scrunching her eyebrows and pumping her shoulders up and

down to imitate him. Krystal forces a smile. When the class is done, Krystal felt relieved to put her cello away. "Soojungie, everything we did

was too easy," Suzy whispers. "And the girl besides me need to brush her teeth. I should probably tell her."

"You can't say that, It's kind of mean...," Krystal frown and whispers back. 

"Maybe I should put a mouthwash on her music stand later." Suzy makes another face and pulls Krystal out the door.

While the two girls are walking along the corridor....

"I heard from one of my classmates that whoever performs well enough for both academic and music, gets to join the new band!", Suzy says it

excitedly, thinking that it might be a good chance for both her and her bestfriend to join the new band. "Suzy," Krystal interrupts. "I think I

might........ , do you think it's possible for someone our age to have a heart attack?" ,the Jung ask out of curiousity.

"You look so cute with that curious expression," Suzy pinch Krystal's cheek and giggling," I saw a show on TV where this really young guy

had a heart attack and he had a digusting ring and when the doctor put the defillibrator, or whatever it's called, on his chest, the

electricity hit the metal ring and electrocuted the doctor!" Suzy starts laughing. "So the moral of the story - don't try to save anyone who had

body piercings."

"Wow, who has body piercings?" JongSuk ask the two girls out of a sudden.

"Krystal does," Suzy says.

"Yah Bae Suzy, I do not!" , Krystal gave Suzy a tight slap on her arm.

Suzy laughs, and then as soon as JongSuk passes by, she whispers, "He likes you, but his mouth is too big."

Krystal ignored the comment, she get used to all the type of confessions or when people tells her who likes her bla bla bla. She knows very

well that her motives coming to school is to pursue her own music interests and gain more knowledge. Nothing more, nothing less.

JANUARY 8. MONDAY

SEOUL ARTS HIGH SCHOOL HALLWAY; 8:23 A.M.

As Amber is walking to her class, she notices Mr Psy posting a signon the music notice board.

PRACTICE ROOM SCEDULE 11:26-12:10

ROOM A: FEI (EVEN DAYS) / BAE SUZY (ODD DAYS)

ROOM B: KRYSTAL JUNG (EVEN DAYS) / AMBER LIU (ODD DAYS)

"Thank you Mr Psy, thank you!" ,Amber is beyond happy that her music teacher gives her a chance praticing guitar, "You have just saved my

life." Mr Psy was puzzled, he sure does not know what Amber was referring to. "Well, I don't know about that. By the way, I just found a guitar

in storage. Probably abandoned by one of the graduated student, but you can have it. "

"What kind of guitar is it?"

"Acoustic, steel strings, but the strings are broken." Mr Psy frowns. "You'll have to provide your own."

"I don't mind as long as I can play. Can I take it home?"

Mr Psy shakes his head, "No, You can't. Since you are not in the music program here. Teachnically, the instruments can be checked out only

by students in the progra
