She was thinking of him again. His smile, his childishness, and happy demeanor. Oh how she missed him- she missed their time together as children, where they were free from worries of the real world.
She sighed.
It's been so long, I wonder how he's doing. Jang Dongwoo, I miss you...
She shut her eyes and took a deep breath, the past coming back to her.
A little girl sat on the swing at the playground, sobbing silently as it rocked back and forth.
The rocking of the swing comforted her to some extent but it didn't make her forget about her unhappiness.
Her father had just left her. Left her mother. Left the family he had helped create.
She depised him for that. She hated him so much.
Now, a four year old shouldn't be thinking like that. Hate is a very strong word. Her mother would say.
Her lips turned into a frown, and she sighed.
"You know, they say every time you sigh you take away a little of your happiness." She heard a perky voice in front of her.
She looked up, and saw a boy a few years older than her, maybe around six or seven, giving her a toothy grin.
"It's none of your business; leave me alone."
She turned her head away, and he followed, giving her another toothy grin.
She turned again, and he did the same.
"Just go away. I want to be alone."
His grin dropped visibly but he picked it up again.
"No one wants to be alone. That's too sad. Come'on, I'll push you!"
That said, the boy ran to her back and started pushing the swing she was on.
The sudden impact caused her to scream with her little girl voice, and he laughed.
She whipped her head back and glared at him but was only given an eyesmile in return.
