Chae Min sighs. Twice. Young Do hands her the helmet. He grins at the look on her face, staring at the helmet as if the devil himself is giving her the death sentence. 

"Don't worry, fair maiden, I'm a good rider." He assures her again. It took him 10 minutes to convince her that he actually does rides a bike, not just any bike mind you, the limited edition Harvey Davidson!

Earlier this morning, Young Do decided that if he is to come to school to help Chae Min, he needs to get back the same feel back when he was a big bully. Nothing more bad than riding his baby!

"I'm not sure.." Chae Min begins again. He shuts her up completely by putting on the helmet on her. It fits perfectly. 

"Wow." He takes a step back to see her more clearly. "You'd make one fine biker chick!"

She raises a finger and closes her eyes. He can almost hear her taking a deep breath. Young Do takes it that she does not quite appreciate the compliment. Without another word, he hops on his bike naturally and she joins him.

"Well?" Young Do asks after a moment of silence.

"What?" Chae Min's muffled voice over the helmet asks back uncertainly.

"Aren't you going to hold on to me?"

"Hah. In your dreams, cowboy."

Young Do starts the engine and accelerate forward. Chae Min cries out a little, not at all ready for the sudden movement. She quietly slips her arms around his waist. He laughs victoriously. How cute is she? He feels her tightening her grip slowly on the road as he picks up speed. This physical contact is making his insides feel fuzzy and warm. He has never really allowed anyone on his precious bike before. Except for.. Cha Eun Sang. 

Memories of his first love comes flooding in, hitting like a tidal wave. His vision blurs. Luckily, the next traffic light turns red. Young Do steps on the break too hard, they both jerk forward. He shakes his head a couple of times, but it seems impossible to rid of her in his mind. Probably because he never had to. She has never been an unwanted image, every time he thinks of her, its always bittersweet memories that he tries to hold on.

Young Do feels a hand running along his arm, gently squeezing his biceps. He finally snaps out of it. He looks over his shoulder to see Chae Min's big brown eyes wide with concern. 

"Are you okay?" she asks. Chae Min rubs both his arm encouragingly.

For several seconds, he just blinks at her. The effect she has on him is undeniably magical. One touch and she makes him forget. Forget about things and people that he is not sure whether he is ready to let go yet. Can Chae Min patch up these broken pieces inside of him?

He removes her hands and wraps them firmly around his waist. He lean his head back so his helmet bumps onto hers.

"I'm okay now."

"This is where we're having breakfast??" Chae Min can't hide the surprised tone in her voice.

She points at the convenience store, holding her helmet in the other hand. When Young Do said he wants to have breakfast with her, she sort of pictured them in a classy cafe or somewhere fancy. Never once did it cross her mind that he wants to have breakfast at a convenience store. What kind of food do they have in here? 

Chae Min hates to admit this but she is slightly disappointed. Its not like she wants him to be overly romantic but she was really into the idea of her being similar to the most important meal of the day. Her being important. And she is just a convenience store? A common place where people can buy cheap and affordable things? 

She wants to be special to Young Do.

"Yeah." Young Do sounds eager to go inside. She wonders what could it be that appeals to him so much. 

Chae Min is still wondering after 10 minutes of staring at Young Do as he slurps and gulps down his second cup of instant ramen.

She shifts around in the plastic chair she is sitting on. It makes a weird cracking sound, as if the chair is about to break under her weight, which is not that shocking since these tables and chairs are outdoors 24/7, under rain or shine.

Young Do is either really hungry or he loves ramen a little too much. She suspects it is the latter. She can't imagine why though, it is unhealthy and tastes really artificial. Watching him eat makes her happy, for some reason. Those small noises like "ahh" and "hmm" that he makes between bites, the way he pokes around to find more noodles, that look when he closes his eyes briefly as he chews, completely indulge in ramen. It is almost cute if only her mood is better, considering Young Do never even glance at her once because of instant ramen. 

Finally, he finishes with a satisfied sigh. He wipes his mouth with his handkerchief. Chae Min clears softly, to remind Young Do of her presence. He looks at her apologetically. 

"Sorry," he says. "That was some good ramen. I can't believe you don't want any."

"I had breakfast already." she replies flatly.

"Right." he says. He scratches his eyebrow, noticing her negativity, obviously trying to figure out what to say. "Erm, I'm getting a drink to wash down the noodles. Do you want anything?"

She shakes her head with a half pout. He looks unsure for a moment before walking back into the store. She wonders any of the girls he went out with ever dared to give him attitude. They probably were too scared of his pair of killer eyebrows. 

Young Do returns shortly with a drink and an ice cream. He hands her the ice cream with a big smile on his face, like a child who did something wrong and is trying to make up for it. 

"You told me anytime is a good time for ice cream, right?" 

Chae Min is about to smile and get over her but managed to bit it down because Young Do added confidently, "I also remember your favourite flavor - strawberry!" 

She remembers telling him her favourite flavor alright, but it is not strawberry, it is chocolate.

"I like chocolate." Chae Min stares at the ice cream. "Strawberry must be some other girl's flavor."

Young Do is dumbfounded. He mentally facepalms himself. Of course, its chocolate. He knew it! But he so naturally bought strawberry because of her.. Cha Eun Sang's favourite. He used to sit several seats away from her in this exact convenience store and watch her eat. Young Do would have a cup of ramen to pretend that he was not stalking her. He knows all her tastes in food - ramen, snacks, ice creams - you name it, she ate it. He suddenly regrets bringing Chae Min to this memorable place where he shares so many secret moments with Eun Sang. 

He is still desperately trying to convince himself that Chae Min is nothing more than a replacement of Eun Sang. At least that was what he thought when he first met her, when he this deal with her. Now he knows she is different from all the other girls who he treated as a replacement of his first love. 

Different from Cha Eun Sang. What he really does not know is how to deal with these feelings for Chae Min that keeps getting stronger every time he sees her.

Young Do can tell Chae Min is obviously hurt by his simple mistake. He had no problem hurting women, never physically, but he never gave a about any of their feelings. But right now, knowing that he was the culprit who hurt her, he wants to smack himself across the face.

How is he going to explain himself? He can not just say 'Oh, I bought my first love's favourite ice cream." 

"I like strawberry." Young Do tries to sound as casual as possible to cover up.

"You do?" Chae Min ask. She hesitates for another second and accepts the ice cream. 

"Yeah."

"You look more like a green tea or vanilla type of person."

Young Do smiles. Bingo! Chae Min is a good guesser. She notices his smile and laughs in triumph. She punches him in the arm lightly. 

"You know I was just joking by pretending to mad right?" She says, her dark look completely vanishes, she is back to the bright and happy girl. "I really don't care about your ex's favourite ice cream flavor."

"Why not?" Young Do asks. He is a little upset that she is not at all jealous.

"Well, because it's a dumb little thing! Guys always screw these kind of crap up anyway. Besides, I'm in no position to be angry at all."

Young Do realizes he is over thinking the whole thing. Chae Min is not just any normal girl who is easily jealous or impressed. In fact, she is no where near normal. She is extraordinarily unique in her own way. And he is madly attracted to her.

"Okay, good." Young Do says coolly, without a hint of emotion in his voice. She glances at him, laughs and shakes her head in amusement. She her ice cream, testing its flavor.

"I want to try some too." he says as she takes a second bite. She offers him the ice cream by putting it in front of his mouth. He inches back his head and the small trail of ice cream on his lips. His eyes never leaves Chae Min's as he do so. She gulps and he finds her staring right at his lips. 

"It's sour." Young Do says. She blinks several times, as if waking up from a hypnosis. Her eyes darting around, avoiding contact with his. 

"Is it? I find it okay." She takes a huge bite into the ice cream. 

Young Do moves his face down to hers so quickly that his mouth slams against hers. He parts her lips with his tongue, dominating . Her tongue is still for a moment, but it picks up what he is doing in less than a heartbeat, their tongues play with each other's like a sword battle. Chae Min is a fast learner. The kiss is both warm and cold, the ice cream tastes divine and it makes everything much more exciting and somewhat . 

Before the ice cream becomes too warm to be disgusting, he finally breaks away. Chae Min opens her eyes and smiles shyly.

"You're right. Its sweet in your mouth." He says.

He uses the back of his hand to wipe away traces of ice cream on the corner of his lips. She does the same. Then, as if to tease Young Do, she gives him a sultry look and the back of her hand slowly. He turns his hand around and palms his mouth, feigning a gasp of surprise. They both laugh at each other being silly.

"Always fun when it comes to ice cream." Chae Min says. He recalls the last time they had ice cream in the shopping mall. She is probably thinking of the same thing, Chae Min stands on the tip of her toes and pecks him softly on his lips, similar to the previous one. 

Young Do stoops down and kisses her once more. This is not the passionate kiss they shared moments ago nor is it a light peck, its somewhere in between. The type of kiss only lovers share, the type of kiss he never gave to any of his flings. He cups her face tightly, both of them breathing the same air and time seems to freeze over. He never knew he is capable to kiss someone so lovingly and sweetly. She is smiling through the kiss and reaches to run her fingers through his hair, caressing the back of his head. 

He pulls her in for a long embrace when the kiss ends. 

Is this love?

It can't be.

But he fears it is.

And he can't do anything to stop it.

Chae Min plops onto the bed. This has got to be one of the most comfortable bed she has ever lay in. High quality mattress with high quality bed sheets. The best part is it smells like Choi Young Do. She buries her face into a pillow and inhales deeply. She wonders how it feels like to fall asleep next to him, hugging his muscular body and..

"Oh my god, are you crazy?!" she says out loud. Sitting upright, she slaps her cheeks lightly. She must be out of her mind after those make out sessions at the convenience store. 

"I think you are." Young Do shoots her a crooked smile. He kneels one leg on the edge of the bed suggestively. She immediately shuffles the comforter up to cover herself. 

"I'm underage!" 

He guffaws for so long, she is pretty sure he is going to faint from the lack of oxygen. He shakes his head and moves away to the other section of the suite. Chae Min sighs in relief. She ends up having to stay in his suite for the rest of the day. She can not go back to school and its too early to go home because she does not want to explain to her parents. 

She looks around the bedroom. Must be nice to live in such a luxurious hotel suite. Must be even nicer to own the whole damn hotel. 

Young Do returns with a laptop. She sighs again, sadly this time. Students nowadays still have to do their homework even if they play truant. The teachers upload the homework and revision notes onto the school website. Guess she has to at least finish her assignments after leaving so rudely earlier this morning.

"Thanks." 

"Okay."

That is the last of the conversation they have for the next couple of hours. The rest of the morning is peaceful and calm. Young Do works opposite her on his huge teak wood study table. They make eye contact once in a while and smile warmly. She can get used to this. Homework does not even seem too bad with Young Do around. He looks so charming when he is working that she has to hold her urge to kiss him again. 

"I'm done!" She announces proudly. Chae Min lies down on the bed and stretches like a kitten. 

"Doesn't your back hurt after sitting on the bed for so long?"

"Nope. I've always love doing things on the bed." 

She cups quickly as she realizes what she had just said. But it is too late. Young Do's laughter howls through the room like a mad man. She wants to cry of embarrassment.

The phone rings halfway and he presses the loudspeaker button, still unable to contain his laugh. She frowns disapprovingly. 

"Mr Choi, you have a guest. Mr Kim Tan is in the waiting room, he wishes to speak to you?"

Young Do's laugh disintegrated into thin air in a spilt second. His facial expression darkens. His lips presses into a straight line. He scratches his eyebrow. A habit that Chae Min has noticed long ago. Who is Kim Tan? How can a name make Young Do tense up so hard?

"Send him up." he says coldly.

Chae Min gulps. This can't be good.
