*Jonghyun's POV
I woke up early from the warm rays of the sun....As I stretched my arms with my eyes closed hoping to see her still asleep, I opened my eyes to find the empty space and see that she was gone. I was starting to panic thinking that she left me but I couldn't think of it too early so I shrugged the thought off as I calmed myself down and got off the bed to wash up.
"Soo Yoon-ah! Are you down here?" I called after as I walked down the stairs. "Soo Yoon-ah are you making breakfast?"
When I didn't hear a reply, I began to panic again as I started searching for Soo Yoon around the house. I checked every corner of the house to no avail but still she wasn't there. I couldn't believe the one thing that I feared the most has finally happened. Why did she leave me?
After spending 2 hours of non-stop searching, tears began to fall from my eyes as I sat down on the couch knowing that she has left me. I was about to bury my face into my hands when I noticed a tear-drenched note on the coffee table along with the familiar ring. So I dried my eyes and grabbed both items from the coffee table only to find out that she has left me.
"Dear Jjong,
Mianhe. Chongmal mianhe. Please forgive me. Everything I'm about to do is for us. I have no other choice but to sacrifice something to save my family. I really don't like this but they gave me no choice. I will explain everything later. Mianhe. -Lee Soo Yoon
P.S. I'm returning the ring to you. Please take care of yourself. I'll still be with you even if I'm not around."
This note explained so much to Jjong now as he finally understood why Soo Yoon was crying so much and kept apologizing to him the previous night.

As soon as I opened my eyes,
I disliked it…
To be honest… I didn’t want to believe it
Because saying goodbye forever
Can only leave you feeling strange…
*Soo Yoon's POV
[flashback]
"Jjong, mianhe....mianhe.." I kept repeating as soon as I saw him.
"What's wrong? Sshhhh...I'm here." Jjong asked me as I buried my face into his chest as he hugged me tight.
'Mianhe. Chongmal mianhe. I have to leave you' I thought to myself as I held on to him tightly.
"I'm sorry. Jjong please forgive me." I cried.
"I won't ask you. Just calm down. Alright? I'm right here. If it's a family problem, I won't ask you. You know that I love you right? So I won't ask you." He said as he patted my back to comfort me.
-end of flashback-
As soon as I woke up, the reality has hit me again as I feared the day of leaving him forever. "Chongmal mianhe." I whispered as I kissed his lips softly before I went downstairs to leave him a note and the ring he gave me.

4 months later.....
It’s not easy for me like my farewell greeting
My heart won’t become mine to control
I guess I’ll have to make an indefinite decision to forget you
So I can bear with it all
'I'm really sorry I have to do this to us. Sacrificing you is the only way i could do to protect you. This was my turn to give back what you have given me. Please forgive me.' I thought to myself before I walked down the aisle.
"Do you, Lee Soo Yoon, take Lee Onew to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest said as he turned to Soo Yoon.
"I do.." Soo Yoon replied, half-heartedly.
"Do you, Lee Onew, take Lee Soo Yoon to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest said as he turned to Onew.
"I do."
"By the power vested in me... I now pronounce you...husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest exclaimed.
Onew then raises her veil, and just before he leaned over to kiss her, he whispered the words 'I'm sorry', before he goes on to kiss her.
