Skincare (Korean way) ^^
Beauty secrets ^.^v ~Skin~Nails~Hair~Ulzzang~Style~Hiiii~~ ^^ How are u all ?
Today I am going to talk about skincare and different ways how you can get acne-free skin. .
What causes acne
No one factor causes acne. Acne occurs when sebaceous (oil) glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated at the time of puberty by circulating male hormones. Sebum (oil) is a natural substance which lubricates and protects the skin. Associated with increased oil production is a change in the manner in which the skin cells mature, predisposing them to clog the follicular pore. The clog can appear as a whitehead if it covered by a thin layer of skin or if exposed to the air the darker exposed portion of the plug is called a "blackhead." The plugged hair follicle gradually enlarges, producing a bump. As the follicle enlarges, the wall may rupture, allowing irritating substances and normal skin bacteria access into the deeper layers of the skin, ultimately producing inflammation. Inflammation near the skin's surface produces a pustule; deeper inflammation results in a papule (pimple); if the inflammation is deeper still, it forms a cyst.
Skin types
Dry skin: Symptoms are cracks, redness, fine lines, itchiness, or dehydrated skin.
Oily skin: Symptoms shininess, blemishes and pimles. Sebum is a skin lubricant, also very good for skin because it contains big source of Vitamin E which keeps your skin lookin young and dewy.
Normal skin:It is not too dry or too oily also it has no or few imperfections and pores and barely visible.
Combination skin: T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily and cheeks are usually dry. It is very tricky to treat.
Skincare routine (Korean way):
Cleanser > Toner > Serum > Emulsion > Moistruizer (with high SPF ^^ ) > BB or CC cream
Cleanser : I highy suggest using foaming cleanser because it is gente on your skin. Always buy cleansers for your skin type. Also wash your face twice a day massaging it for 2 minutes and rinse with cold water. Cold water also can act like toner.
Toner: Many people think that toners are useless but they are very helpful because they balance skin's PH.
Serum: Very important step in skincare, many people think that serum is used by older women for reducing wrinkles....but no actually serum makes your skin youthful and healthy. It is usually lighter than moistruizer, watery and fast absorbing cream.(if u know what I mean ^^)
Emulsion: It is light moistreizer made for people with dry skin or for those who lives in dry climate area.
Moistruizer: It is very tricky to find the best moistruizer, but using moistruizer with SPF for better protection. \.
BB cream and CC cream: Also known as the best kept secret of Korean actresses. Both creams are similar. Reduce\Cover blemishes and redness. Usually contain very high SPF and can brighten your skin tone. Korean best brans are: Etude House, Skin Food, The Face Shop, Skin79, Misha...
Natural skincare:
Kiwi face mask: Keep kiwis in the fridge. Blend a kiwi (make sure to peel off the skin) and put it on your face and leave for 20 mins then rinse and again apply another layer of kiwi on your skin. Rinse it with cold water and apply toner. This mask will clean your skin from dirt and give you healthy glownig skin.
Green tea toner: Make green tea and wash your face with warm water to open up your pores. Then apply cold green tea on yor face or just waash your face with it.
Yogurt face mask: Nourishing and very simple mask. Apply thick layer of yogurt on your skin and rinse it with warm water while massaging your face for better cleaning. Apply moistruizer after washing your face.
Oatmeal face mask: Mix 3 tablespoons of oats, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, a teaspoon of honey and bit of water. Mix everything well and apply to your face. Leave it for 30 mins. This mask is great for acne-prone skin and also it brighten your skin tone.
All these masks you can apply twice or three times a week.
