The end of M.A.X.'s debut promotions not only marked another success by Cube Entertainment – but also the birth of their sister group, G.E.M.

It is revealed that M.A.X. is originally a sub-group under Cube Entertainment's new project, GE2M which involved twelve trainees. The boys of M.A.X., consisting of Jin, Kyle, KM, BJ, Sun and Howon, had debuted earlier than G.E.M. as a prequel to the actual group's appearance.

A representative of Cube Entertainment explained, “The reason why we debuted M.A.X. first was because the company has been debuting boy-groups in the past year, like M4M and BTOB. It was a plan to test the grounds before revealing the group's girl counterpart.”

Along with the announcement of the debut of G.E.M., Cube Entertainment has also revealed the member profiles of the first confirmed members, Skylar and Miso.

It seems as if the girls have contrasting appearances — Miso flaunts a mature, y look in her profile images, while Skylar seems more innocent and younger in hers. Are these yet another puzzle given by Cube Entertainment and waiting to be solved?
