I really, really hate writing forewords but here.

Present

“There will always be particular people, some things, and certain points in time which you’ll never forget, no matter how much time passes and how hard you try. Sometimes, we’re both quiet, but the sound of the world remains, ever so beautiful. Having him is like having the Sun beside me. The sound of your voice—that’s what I least want to lose.”

Stop it. Get out of my head.  The man finally fell to his knees, the unworldly pain gnawing at his chest. It hurt.

By now, the man had given up on trying to stop it.

The sting was illogical, he reasoned with himself. The pain was just something caused by his longing.

Yet, he couldn’t stop it. And he knew it.

Then

“If one day, I can no longer hear you, will you still stay with me?”

“Sound is the most wonderful thing. Ever. I don’t want to lose the luxury of listening to things happening around me. I want to record down every single down, to remember them, lest I forget.”
