I asked dad to dropped me a little late than the usual time I come, because I don’t feel like meeting Eunjung this morning. I texted her that I won’t be needing her help in the morning; she’s already attacking me with various questions of the lady from last night.

“I will be home late later, Jiyeon.”, I smiled widely the moment I got out of the car, “But that doesn’t mean, I’m letting you do the same…”, I lost the smile in an instant.

“Fine…”, I got off and immediately walked towards the exam hall.

I’m not avoiding Eunjung; I just don’t need my mood to be spoiled in this early morning. I’m still upset for what she did to Sunggyu. I did ignore her texts and calls all night, but can’t she read the time? I bet she have hundreds of them in her house! I really need my rest since my feet felt like it could break off anytime. Now she made me feel bad for Sunggyu, I wonder how he is today…

I could see Eunjung is trying to get me notice her in the hall, I choose not to hear anything and continue finishing my paper, which is very important at the moment.

“Thank you, Mrs. Kim.”, I hand in the paper and greeted her before seeing her again in the afternoon later.

“Jiyeon, I’ve been trying to call you, were you not listening? Maybe I wasn’t calling you loud enough. Anyway, I’m dying to know about last night? What happened? Would you please tell me?”, She is practically begging as we’re walking our way to the canteen to have our lunch.

I couldn’t take anymore of her naggings, so I pulled her outside on the hallway. I almost yelled at her to the point where I don’t care of my surroundings right now, I asked for her explanations about yesterday with Sunggyu. I just can’t stand feeling so guilty.

“You know how upset I am at you for doing this to me? I could take care of my own, Eunjung… Just because I couldn’t get any dress I want to, it wasn’t necessary of you to just ask someone to recklessly get me one like that. I felt really terrible for him, tell me how am I supposed to face him now?”,

“Jiyeon, I didn’t ask him to do anything for you. Honest…”, She leaned closer, “He did that all to himself because he wants to, trust me, he won’t be mad at you even if you ask him to get you free tickets abroad, or buys you a million dollars’ worth car… Walking you home yesterday was nothing because he’d do anything, for you…”,

“What non-sense are you talking about Eunjung? Even so, you can’t solely told him off to do things for me again, you understand me?”,

“Whatever you say, Jiyeon…”, A slight pause before she asked me, “Are you not mad at me anymore?”,

I smirked.

I am actually still upset with her, but how long can I possibly stay mad at her when she’s always this bubbly and I’m aware that she never listens to me anyway...

“Great! Now tell me how it goes, but first, let’s get our lunch. I’m starving!”,

Eunjung has been my friend from the age of where I’ve been left by my mom. So, basically she knew everything about my dad, my family… I understand why she is getting excited over this new girlfriend of his, I am too. This means, I’ll have a mother. I’ll have someone to be on my side whenever I have a fight with dad, I’ll have someone to go shopping with, I’ll have to taste the cooking’s from a mother instead of the maids, I’ll do whatever girls out there do with their mother’s in the weekends. Just one problem; that she already has a daughter, a 15 year old daughter. I don’t know how she is, what she looks like, what if she doesn’t like me? I don’t think I could handle a little sister…

I’m done with today’s paper and decided to just let Eunjung go this time for making me look bad in front of Sunggyu.

I asked her to stop by my aunt’s café, for dinner. She just bought the drinks and headed back home, I told her to leave me here because dad isn’t home early waiting for me.

“I heard that you ate lunch here with your Dad a few days ago?”, My aunt approaches me with my food that I ordered earlier.

“Yeah. I was just craving for the usual.”,

I’m hesitating, whether I should let her know about Dad’s dating someone…
