“Where is Officer Choi Siwon? Bring me to him right now!”

                Siwon rolled his eyes in mild irritation as he got off his chair and motioned for the rest of the team to stay put. Trying his best to reign in his temper and worsening headache, he strode out of the conference room and into the main hall of the police headquarters, watching as some of his colleagues all tried to speak to the obviously agitated businessman. Praying to the heavens for another mile long of patience, Siwon plastered his best smile as he came forward and into the direct line of sight of Han Jiwoon.

“Well?” Jiwoon demanded. “What is it that you want to discuss with me?”

Siwon moved closer and bent down slightly so that only the business could hear his whispered words. “We could do that here now and let everyone here of your… indiscretions. Or we can do it my way and we’ll head to the conference room where the rest of my team are and we’ll talk about this in a very civilized manner.”

The older man clenched his jaw. “Lead the way.”

“Very well.” Barely concealing his smirk, the police officer did as he was told. In tense silence, they made their way to the conference room; Han Jihoon stopping short in the doorway when he got a good glimpse of the people inside. “Is there a problem, Mr. Han?”

“Jessica?” He all but stuttered her name. “Jessica, dear, what are you doing here?”

But she merely stared at him as if was the lowest scum of the Earth.

“Mr. Han, these are the members of my team, Shim Changmin, Cho Kyuhyun, Choi Sooyoung, Im Yoona, Jung Yunho, Kim Heechul, Seo Joohyun, Kris Wu, Amber Liu and I trust that you already know Jessica Jung.” Siwon’s lips twitched when Heechul had to feign a cough to hide his laughter, gesturing instead to the empty seat at the head of the table. “Mr. Han, if you’ll please.”

He sat down hesitantly, wary of the fact that everyone’s eyes were on him and none of them were friendly. “Why have you called me here?”

“I’ll cut to the chase because I’m afraid we don’t have much time.” Siwon settled himself on the seat to Mr. Han’s right. “Ms. Oh Yeonseo is missing.”

“Missing?!” He bolted out of his seat; eyes wide and face red. “What do you mean missing?”

“We received a call from one of her neighbors.” Changmin lied smoothly, handing him an envelope. “Inside are pictures of the interior of the house upon our arrival. Can you confirm that this indeed is Oh Yeonseo’s house?”

All but tearing the envelope in his haste to see the pictures, Jiwoon’s jaw dropped as he scanned each and every one. “How… Who could do this to her?”

“We do have a suspect, sir.”

“Who is it?” When no one gave him any reply, his face flamed up even more. “Tell me who it is so I can deal with him and–”

“It’s your wife.”

“Julia?” Mr. Han staggered back into his seat and this time, his face lost all color. “Julia knows?”

“She’s known for a long time, sir.” Siwon informed him grimly. “Sir, do you remember the case I mentioned to you when we encountered you and Ms. Oh early this evening?”

He nodded numbly. “Yes.”

“The case I was talking about is that of the multiple kidnapping and murder case of various women. I’m sure you’ve seen it on the news and read it in the papers.” The officer looked at the older man square in the eye. “We have cause to believe that your wife is behind it.”

“That’s impossible!” Jiwoon exclaimed hotly, slamming his palm against the table. “My wife isn’t a murderer.”

“We have evidence that shows otherwise.” Siwon informed him patiently. “Sir, we need your permission to search the premises of your home to know once and for all what the truth is.”

“I…” Distraught, Mr. Han could only cover his face. “You have it.”

“Thank you, sir.” Wasting no time, Siwon turned to Kyuhyun, Changmin, Heechul, Seohyun, Kris and Amber. “We need to get you costumes.”

Heechul blinked. “Costumes?”

“Uniforms.” Sooyoung clarified. “You guys can’t just go in there like that. Julia will likely be suspicious.”

“Right…” Changmin shot Siwon a look. “What’s the plan?”

“Jessica and Yunho hyung, I need you stay here with Mr. Han. Keep your phones open so we can easily contact you. Sooyoung, you’re in charge of getting the uniforms for the rest. Yoona, help her.” His lips settled into a firm, hard but determined line. “We’re going to solve this case.”

“Hello, officer.” A rather charming smile graced Julia’s lips as she greeted Siwon and the rest of the team in the doorway of her home. “What can I do for all of you?”

“Mrs. Han. I’m Lieutenant Choi Siwon.” Siwon greeted politely yet curtly before he handed her an envelope. “We have a search warrant here. We’ll need to look through your home, ma’am.”

“Whatever for?” She asked; confusion coloring her tone.

“Ma’am, a woman named Oh Yeonseo went missing early this evening. We have enough evidence linking her to you.”

“I won’t insult your intelligence, Lieutenant. Yes, I am aware of my husband’s affair with Oh Yeonseo and I assume he’s the one who gave you the go signal for this.” Julia held up the envelope she never bothered to open; her smile turning too innocent for the team’s liking as she stepped aside. “Please, come in. Knock yourself out.”

Wary of Julia and her butler’s presence, Siwon turned to his speak and spoke loud enough for only them to hear. “Go to your assigned areas and report immediately if you find anything at all related to the case. Try
