It’s been a week now since I rejected Taemin. I felt bad, but at the same time, I’d feel worse if I didn’t. Cuz he’d keep reminding me of Taemanry and I’d go crazy. Literally. We’ve still been close-he’s been over practically everyday to make sure my injuries are healing properly-but it’s a bit awkward. Everytime he’d show any signs of aggression, or do anything similar to how Taemanry would do something, I would sigh and walk out of the room. He never really asked me about it, but would just go back to his normal cutesy self, so it was ok, I guess.

Anyways, remember how I said Taemin and I were really close? Yeah, everyday, even if he had a mission, he’d make sure to walk me home if I went somewhere. For some reason, today he was unable to walk me home. “Hmm, that’s weird. He’s usually here no matter what,” I shrug and keep walking. I walk in silence, making my usual turns. When suddenly, I feel as if I’m being followed. I spin in a circle to make it seem less suspicious, but find no one. Ok then? Finally reaching home, I bolt the doors closed. Just to be safe... Walking into my room, I change and lie on my bed, thinking about things when I fall asleep.

I walk up hours later being shaken awake. “Zara, are you ok?”

I nod, wiping my face. “What happened?”

“Are you ok? Was someone here?” he asks, trying to slow down his rapid breathing.

“No...?” I ask, confused.

He sighs and quickly hugs me, but stops. “Is your back ok?”

I nod. “But what happened?”

“Nothing. Don’t worry,” he smiles, even though his lips slightly hesitate to smile.
