I paced back and forth anxiously as I waited for a knock on the door. Rain and Joon were asleep so the house was pretty quiet.  After what seemed like forever, a faint tapping could be heard. I sighed in relief and opened the door.

“What was so important that you needed me to come over in the middle of The Breakfast Club?” Sungjae asked as he brushed the snow off his jacket.

“You’ve seen that movie a million times, it can wait… Mika from the demonic trinity paid me a visit today,” I said.  His jaw dropped.

“What did he want?”

“…Me,”

“What?”

“Apparently I have angelic heritage, and they need me for some kind of ritual,” I explained.

“You didn’t agree to it did you!?”

“Of course not! But I need your help finding some way out of this,”

“Well I do have an idea… but it’s not exactly orthodox,” he said, taking a seat.

“Well what is it?” I replied, sitting next to him.

“We could use the harmonium…”

“Dude, no way. It’s too dangerous,”

“Any other suggestions?”

“Not really…”

“Alright then,” Sungjae replied, taking a small flute from his pocket.  The harmonium was an heirloom that had been passed down through the slayer order for centuries.  It was an ancient artifact that could be used to summon the gods themselves.  Sungjae acquired it from his father, one of the best slayers to ever live.  He kept it with him at all times… paranoid as always.

Sungjae blew into the flute and then everything was quiet.

“What happens now?” I asked.

“Just wait,”

A bright light flashed, nearly blinding me.  A beautiful woman was standing in front of us, looking somewhat confused.

“Harmonia? I’m Yook Sungjae and this is Lee Minhyuk… we are monster slayers and-“

“I’m aware of who you two are and please, call me Hyoyeon,”

“We really need your help,” I said.

“Wow… you are a cutie! What can I help you with?” she shrieked, pinching my cheeks.  I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing.

“The demonic trinity needs me for a ritual, we need to find a way out of it,”

“Oh no… this is not good, not at all.  If anyone knows a way out of this it would be my sister,”

“Wait… Eris?” Sungjae asked.

“She goes by Sooyoung now. Since she’s the goddess of chaos and discord, this is her area of expertise,” Hyoyeon explained.

“What do we need to do? It doesn’t matter,” I said. I was desperate.

“We need to go see Sooyoung… be warned, she doesn’t exactly care about human life,”

“We’ve been through some tough situations before, we’ll be fine,” Sungjae assured her.

“Fine, we leave for Olympus first thing in the morning,” Hyoyeon said with a smile before disappearing.
