"OMG SM IS LOOKING FOR AN ACTRESS TO STAR IN EXO'S MV?!" a girl cried aloud.
"AND THEY'RE COMING HERE FOR AUDITIONS?" another female student screamed with happiness.

"Unbelievable. Is this really true Ailee?!" you said staring into your friend's face.

As you and Ailee confirmed the poster on the school's noticeboard in the hallway, you couldn't help but to be dumbfounded and at the same time filled with emotions of happiness and frustration.

"So it is true," you sighed to Ailee.
"It sure is sis," your friend replied back, "Why are you so down?"
"Because I know I ain't good enough and there is no point in me auditioning," you said with a plain unimpressive look on your face.
"OH COME ON I call bull Byul, you can do it and I WILL make you do it whether you like it or not." And she cackles and smiles at you in a creepy yet devilish way.

"STUDENT'S, MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION," Principal Lee's voice booms over the loudspeaker. "As many of you may already know, SM Entertainment will be coming to Seoul High School today for auditions scheduled in classroom 2A. It is required that a female student in their senior year auditions, and the chosen student will star as an actress in their upcoming music video. The deal with SM has come about after some long discussion, and in addition to that, EXO's Kim Jong In or as many of you may call him, Kai, will be accompanying the SM representatives here to the school's campus as he was a past student here. Well, that is all for today, and make sure that all the senior's who wish to participate bring their ID."

*Girls screaming*

"So it really does look like he's coming," BTOB's Peniel said to Hyunsik.
"Sorry man wasn't listening, who's coming?" Hyunsik replied back with a confused look.
"Your best mate," Ilhoon clarified.
"Kai? That's aweome! I'll chat to him when he comes!" Hyunsik exlaimed with excitement.

"Oi Byul I just overheard Peniel and Ilhoon say that Kai is actually Hyunsik's best friend," Ailee whispered after jabbing you in the ribs.
"Woah that's insane. The best two looking guy's in the world are best friends," you replied with a dreamy expression and clamped hands as if you were looking up and confessing to God.
"Alrighty enough dreaming and let's get to class Byul!

In the distance, you could see Apink's Chorong walking down the hallway in a posh manner whilst repeating, "girls and boys, please step aside as Queen Chorong will be taking the role," as if it wasn't embarrasing enough.

The day had gone by so quickly you almost forgot about the audition. Maths was a total killer in the morning with Mr Park rambling on about algebra and what not, and then to make it even worse, you had Legal Studies afterwards and because you forgot to read the chapter on International Law, there was no way you could keep up with what Mrs Min was saying.

"FINALLY YOU'RE HERE!" Ailee said sarcastically. 

*Heavy panting* "I can barely breathe after running from all the way down that end!"

Just as Ailee was about to talk, the Dance and Music teacher Miss Kim popped her head through the door. There was around 50 girls all in the same year as you but you could barely see ahead because you were all the way at the end of the line.

"Have your ID cards ready and when you have passed, please proceed to the side of the classroom seated in the order you arrived please," Miss Kim yelled across the hallway.

Loud shuffling of footsteps became softer when the line was shortening, considering it only took the teacher a second to confirm that all the ID's belonging to the students were in fact girls in their senior year.

This is the moment. Mess up and you're done for Byul. You couldn't help but to feel a rush of adrenaline, and at the same, a feeling that your heart was up your throat.

Upon entering the classroom, you could see Kai with ruffled hair standing in the far back wearing a half-ed white shirt, blue denim jeans and Adidas sneakers. *Gulps* Good Lord, I have never seen such a beautiful human being in my fking life you said in your mind. So close yet so far. Whilst you were too busy examining Kai's gorgeous face and figure, Miss Kim hisses at you. "Stop looking at Kai and get going!"

Since her voice was loud enough for the whole school to hear, all the girls already seated to the left and right side of the classroom looked up at you and laughed histerically. Upon noticing that you were the only girl standing at the front of the door for what seemed like 10 minutes, you notice Kai looking back at you and gives a chuckle. After noticing what you were doing you immediately buried your face and got seated down.

You're absolutely ridiculous Byul! Embarrasment was the only word embedded in your mind when you took your seat to the right.

After everyone took their seats which left the centre of the classroom empty, the SM rep. sitting in the middle cleared his throat and began to speak.

"Hello students, my name is Yoon Im Sang and I will be the director for EXO's upcoming music video. I was also the director for their recent music video "Call Me Baby" and am very excited to also direct this MV for their repackaged album. To my left is David Hwang who is the choreographer for EXO's dance, and to my right is Kim Hana who will be the acting assistant for the MV. And as you are already aware, we have brought along EXO's Kai to help in the auditions. What you will all be expected to do is read and act out the lines on the script which we will be handing out in just a moment, however, we will not get every single one of you to come up but instead will randomly select a few girls. We will commence now."

After receving the script, you quickly skim through the lines and gasp while reading the last line.

You: Turn around and leave with your head down.
Kai: Run up to the girl and hug her from the back for about 10 seconds.

CUT

The enthusiastic director who looks as if he's on top of the world starts clapping to get everyone's attention. As he walks up to the centre of the room, your heart starts pounding not knowing whether you will be chosen or not.

"Attention everyone, 15 minutes is up and David and Hana will now select 6 girls who will act with Kai. Please note that this script is not the same as the one for their upcoming MV and that the EXO member who will act in the MV has not been chosen, hence why Kai is our subsitite actor," the director says. "We will now start with the game of heads down thumbs up so please lower your heads and put your right thumb up."

Kai who was just an absolutely magnificent piece of art stands in the corner of the room with an unenthusiastic expression, an expression that says "done this done that, kill me now." However, that's not how 99% of the girls in the room felt, especially you.

It had been around 5 minutes since the "game" began and you were wondering if you were going to be chosen. Five girls had been picked and went to stand at the front, and that's when you felt someone push your thumb down.

NO WAY!! THEY PICKED YOU BYUL!!

"Can the last girl please come up?" the director asked.

And off you went, idling to the front like a freak while all the other girls gasped because they would have never expected that someone like you, would have gotten chosen.

You, who was waiting for this chance finally got it. Unlike the other girls with silky long hair and model bodies, you instead, was a girl who wore a mid-length bob and glasses simply because you were a four eyes. At a height of 165cm tall, you were taller than some other girls but nevertheless, why should all these features matter when you've made the cut?

"Let the act begin," the director said cheerfully.
