She was sick of the fame. Sick of the whispers that surrounded her whenever she walked into a building and the eyes that never ended. Did people have nothing better to do with their lives then follow hers? Especially when her's was uninteresting, uneventful and exactly what everyone hopes they could have. Tired. Damn, she was tired. Good manners regardless she had to get out. Especially after she found out the ridiculous plan her father had for her.

Yunho;

Just because he was the leader of Tvxq didn't mean he didn't want to find love. Hell, he'd wanted to fall in love like any other hot-blooded male, since he laid eyes on that hottie across the classroom. Regardless his career had pulled him back from such desires to pursue others. So why was it that he couldn't stop himself turning to her. Thinking of her. Dreaming of her. Especially when he knew damn well who she was. The millionaires' daughter. Great bloody pick there. Still, he found himself drawn to her despite every instinct in him that said stay away. Love, he decided, was a pain and a half.

Authors Note;

This is, if you watched the trailer, the last story in the 'fate' series but... it doesn't really matter. The story will follow the love between Yunho and Midori. While past couples will pop up they won't be detrimental. I might be posting up my forth story, 'To Dance Is To Believe,' but I know for sure I won't be posting up my first two. They were.. terrible. I may, however, post up the third story, 'Always Keep The Faith.' If you fall in love with this story and really want to read the whole series, pm me and I'll link you to another website but ... my writing has improved a lot i think since the first stories. This is, really, my fifth chapter story ever. So obviously the first in the series was a bit rough..

Wind ruffled the black hair that caressed gentle shoulders. Deep brown eyes, almost black, stared out at the night view of Tokyo and blurred memories flew the woman’s mind. A small smile that flittered with sadness slipped over her lips.

‘The Millionaire’s daughter, huh?’ a manicured hand brushed back her light fringe, ‘isn’t that too cliché?’ She was referring to a recent newspaper that had come out. She waas sick of it. The fame, the attention. She wanted to be normal.

Beeping sounded behind her but she didn’t turn, too use to the sound of an incoming message. With a sigh she turned her eyes away from the shimmering lights, half turning to scan eyes over the dark room. The red light that alerted her of a message winked at her. Light footsteps filled the empty air, a graceful woman walking slowly to place one hand on the answer button.

‘Yes,’ the soft voice of an angel flittered out into the night, sternness hiding the kindness normally voiced.

‘Your father is here,’

Her head fell down, the soft length of hair framing her face and falling over slim shoulders. Great. With an exhausted sigh she pressed down on the button, ‘Let him in,’

Seconds later the heavy doors creaked open and the stern slap of heavy steps echoed around the once serene room. Midori had already moved to the windows again, as if the city lights could take her heart away from that moment so she could breath. Her father always had a way of making her breath short and her heart heavy.

Her father didn’t speak for a while, the heavy atmosphere building until Midori let out a sigh, her hand coming up to touch the window, wishing she was anywhere but there, ‘What is it, father?’

A pause, ‘You know why I’m here,’

Midori’s face didn’t falter, her body stayed frozen, ‘Yes I know,’ she eventually said. She knew without turning that her father’s face had hardened, the lips would have pursed together and a wrinkle of anger weave across his brow.

‘I’ll give you six years Midori, for this idea of yours to fade. When that time is up you know what will happen.’

Tears filled the pretty eyes that never left Tokyo, ‘Yes Father, I understand.’

The older man nodded, turning sharply on his heel to leave but stopped at the door. He turned to see the outlined figured of his daughter, her hand still pressed to the glass as if she could slip through it and fly away.

‘Midori,’ She didn’t answer, nor did she turn. ‘Don’t fall in love.’

Her voice was numb when she responded, her wings clipped back from the freedom she longed so much, ‘I understand, Father.’
