In Heaven

The absence of someone can be the very end of our existence. Death renders those that remain in a state of near insanity, sometimes delusion. There are those that live in a fake reality, believing their dearest ones are simply away. There are some who work themselves to the bone, to the point where nothing else matters but making it through each day. Then, for those who could be said to take the death hardest; anger. Full and flush and red hot; anger that scorches the world; burns relationships and blames God.
Regardless, they all share similarities.
All are heartbroken. 
All lose hope. 
All wish it wasn't true.
But even a broken heart can be mended; with a little glue, some rocks to hold it steady, some hope and a lot of love. Death isn't the end; it shouldn't be full of mourning but a celebration of a life that was brighter than the sun and fuller than the oceans.

Authors Note;
This is the current story I'm infatuated to. It'll be a bittersweet ending and more than likely a story full of meaning to enjoy life and showing the growth of characters. I think it will challenge my writing to improve as I explore characters emotions in depth and try and get a deep understanding of each character. I'm going to try and make it less generic. For those of you who know me well ~ I specialise in Angst. So yes, this is an angst; in a chaptered story rather than a one-shot.
