I cringed my nose as I passed through the crowd of screaming fangirls. Man, its hard to be handsome. I continued walking until I reached the ranking board, I saw Yoo Young Jae standing in front of the board with his fist clenched. Looks like I win, again.

I stood beside him as I scanned the board and I frowned once I saw my name. I turned around, seeing Young Jae eyeing me in the process. Light bulb’s on. I grabbed his arm and pulled him closer, then I whispered “And here I thought you had the potential to actually beat me.” After that I pulled him into a hug with a smirk on my face, he tried pushing me away but I tighten my grip and said “Be careful. Jealous kittens might scratch you.” I think he found out my little plan when he pushed me with all his strength and sprinted away. Yoo Young Jae, you are so dead.
 

Let me introduce myself before anything else. Name’s Jung Daehyun, sixteen, sophomore at Charleston Academy. I usually sing during my free time, part of a band in school, main vocalist and I secretly love cheesecake. I keep it a secret. I don’t want my own image to be ruined. Well, you can say that I am handsome (With all the girls swooning at me, you just won’t miss it.). 
 

I have two best friends, Himchan hyung and Jong Up. I have known Himchan hyung ever since I was in diapers since our moms are good friends, they would always schedule little playdates. I met Jong Up through Himchan hyung.

I was sitting on one of the swings in an old playground a few blocks away from my house. I sat there waiting for a friend to arrive. After a few minutes, he came running together with a guy whom I haven’t met before.
 

“This is Jong Up. Moon Jong Up. Say hi to him Dae.”

“Annyeonghaseyo, Jung Daehyun imnida” I told him with a frown forming on my face.

“Hyung, don’t be so formal okay?” the stranger said with a huge grin plastered on his face.

I puffed my hair.

“Hey! Don’t be such a snob!” Himchan screamed stomping on my foot.

“Aishh! HYUNG!” I screamed. I glared at Himchan, taking steps forward getting ready to attack him.

“WHOA! YAH! NO FIGHTING!” the stranger screamed pushing me away.

“Mwo?” Himchan and I asked as we looked strangely at him.

“Aren't you going fight?” he asked.

“An-ii-y--a” I replied trying to hold back my laughter “Even though this ajusshi gets on my nerves, I still love him” I continued slinging my arm around Himchan’s shoulder.

I absentmindedly smiled remembering the weirdest yet most memorable memory in my life. I shook my head and thought about the person who ran away a few moments ago, Yoo Young Jae, you are very interesting indeed. All I know about is that he’s in my class and is around my age but I do know one thing the moment I met him, all I wanted to do is annoy and . I suddenly remembered when I first met him.

It was raining. My heart kept pounding and I couldn’t do anything to stop it. Tears flowed freely on my cheeks. I thank the rain because it camouflaged my tears.
 

“YAH! JUNG DAEHYUN!” I heard a very familiar voice calling me. I turned around and saw Himchan hyung running towards me.

“I, I-------” I didn’t let him finish, I crashed my lips on his.

He pulled back. He showed a shocked face but it immediately turned into a glare. I took a step closer but with every step I take, he takes a step back. I was about to say something but he suddenly slapped me and started running away from me. I wasn’t going to let him go but I saw Young Jae there, staring at me with his mouth open. Shoot! He just saw what happened. I just walked past him and pretended to not even care if someone saw what just happened.

Walking along the hallway, I saw Himchan, but wait, who’s that guy his with?
