My name is Lee Taemin. My father left my mother after I was born. He wasn’t even really my real father; he just got my mother pregnant, because my mother was a e. When she finally realized that she needed to stop, she decided to ‘start over’, and raise me. She didn’t want to keep me though; she says it all the time when we argue.  We never get along, except on special occasions…sometimes.

I am never home most of the time, because I’m out with my friends or I just take walks or stay in motels because I hate being at my house. It’s not even a house, it’s a stupid dinky little apartment, and it’s always filled with little pests! I don’t remember the last time when me and Minyung had the house to ourselves.

The thing about where I live is that everyone does drugs or is in a gang of some sort. We can’t afford to live in a safe environment. What with my mother’s status. She fits in good here, and I know for sure how she gets money sometimes. She still is a e, I know it. I came home once and there was this stranger sleeping on the living room couch….

Trust me, if I had the choice to leave school and never go back, I would. Everybody there are es and s and annoying wipes. I’m failing anyway, so I don’t understand why I even go. Something is telling me to go, but I don’t know what is. So I hate my life at home and I hate my life at school.
