It was almost like Jongin had dreamt about what happened last night, when he and Aeri slept hand in hand together in the same bed, their faces inches apart, and their hearts racing at the same pace.
When he woke up, he was truly thankful that she hadn't left this time, and couldn't help but caress her pale, soft skin and her pink, luscious lips that he wanted to kiss so badly. It was his first time. His first time sleeping next to a girl without having with her. It was his blessing that the girl was Shim Aeri, because he couldn't imagine cuddling with any other female. Then, reality crashed on him when they arrived at university. She told him to pretend that they didn't know each other's existence, and walked away from him, leaving him utterly lost and speechless. Standing there like an idiot, he couldn't snap out of his daze until Sehun appeared next to him, telling him that they were going to be late if they didn't rush to class. He nodded mindlessly, and blindly followed Sehun towards one of the rooms. Coincidently, Aeri was in his first class, and it enraged him that she was avoiding his gaze blatantly. With a sigh, he sat on his usual seat at the back, and instead of paying attention to class, he decided to stare at Aeri's back figure instead, which in his opinion, was definitely much more interesting than the boring lecture. ---------- Lunch came by quickly, and students were all gathered in the cafeteria, the hustle and bustle was quite a sight, as students chatted freely, all clumped in their own little groups. Nonetheless, they all knew each other fairly well, either from primary, middle or even secondary school where they met to form this little gang. The gang was quite big, but Jongin's closest friends were only Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Sehun. But if he had to choose one person out of the three of them to confide to, he would definitely choose Sehun. Why? It was an easy choice. Chanyeol was too loud, Baekhyun was too talkative, but Sehun, he actually sat down and carefully listened to Jongin's troubles. It was the quiet and tranquil comfort he radiated that helped Jongin pass through the horrible times of his life. Then again, Jongin kept some secrets to himself, because he didn't feel the need to tell Sehun everything. Sehun was also a quiet observer, and it didn't surprise Jongin the least that he had noticed Jongin's subtle change these few days. "You seem different these days," he commented lightly as they ate their food. Jongin looked up from his food, momentarily snapping out of his daze that included him fantasising about Aeri. "Huh?" he asked dumbly, staring at Sehun weirdly. He knew exactly what Sehun was trying to say, but decided to play dumb for now because he didn't want to waste his breath trying to explain. Sehun smirked inwardly, knowing he had hit the bull's eyes. Before he could reply Jongin, though, the appearance of three important people in the cafeteria silenced them all. Dashingly, annoyingly and arrogantly, three senior sunbaes walked in proudly, and Jongin's face immediately scrunched up in pure disgust. There, was the most influential student in t
