Hyosun isn't allowed to go to her year 12 farewell trip because it is out of the budget her mother gave her. But opportunities made its way to her. Her classmate, Somin, tell her that she won a competition to a SHINee fanmeeting which will be held in Bali and is required to bring along someone else, otherwise her prize will be given to someone else. Somin offered Hyosun this chance and Hyosun gladly accepted it. Hyosun planned to somehow create a beautiful memory with her crush. However, the fanmeeting program failed her to spend time with her crush, she even embarrased herself in front of SHINee, and not to mention made enemy out of the fans there. When she thought that it will end there, she ended up figuring out that SHINee moved to the house next door and a triangle love between her, Onew, and Jonghyun begun.

“Mom.. Dad.. Pleaseeeee!!!” I whined at my parents who were watching TV at the living room. “Please!! I really wanted to go to my year 12 farewell trip.. Pleasee.. Just this once!” I put my hands together while pleading to them.

“Hyosun..” My mom sighed as she lower down the volume of the TV. “How many times do I have to make this clear to you?? If the budget is over $2000, then it’s a NO! What plane ticket are you guys taking that it costs $2150?! The cost of your stay is also $400 per night!”

“Well… It’s from here to Bali.. Of course it would cost that much..” I said to her. But actually, my whole grade wanted to have the best holiday so they booked the best plane and the best hotel to stay there.

“Whatever it is, it’s a NO! I will allow you to go if you can meet my budget!” She added. She then turn on the volume of the TV higher again. As the volume went up higher,  I can hear the word ‘lucifer’ that the boys on TV singing. Yeah right, right now my mom is ‘lucifer’..
My parents continued enjoying watching the MBC Music Festival, while I sulked in my room.
 

That night, the music festival is aired to entertain the audience with famous performers. Do you think I would actually be able to watch such show when I’m feeling down like this?
However, there is this one man who’s watching the same show but didn’t look as happy as normal audience would. His lips didn’t curl up into a smile nor a frown when he was watching a certain group performance. It’s just as if he’s analyzing their performance. That time, a group named SHINee is performing.
“Chunhee..” The man flicked his finger and a tall man who was standing behind him come closer to him.

“Yes,sir?” Chunhee answered, maintaining his politeness by putting his hand together.

“You’ve done good job in managing them.” The man praised Chunhee who’s the manager of SHINee.

A wide smile curled up on Chunhee’s face once he got praised by his employer. “Thank you sir.”

“I think it’s time to reward them something.” The man turned his chair around so that he can face Chunhee. “I’m thinking.. Why don’t we hold the next fanmeeting in Bali?” The old man smiled at Chunhee. “We select 20 fans to join the fanmeeting and we arrange activities for them.. Sounds good?”

Chunhee can’t believe what he just heard. As a manager, he knew that his boys would be very happy to hear this, but his responsibility would be higher too. As a manager, taking care of his boys is very hard, especially when he needs to keep his boys away from the hardcore fans. But since it’s his boss’ idea, he can’t object nor do anything about it. He just nod and agreed to his boss’ idea.

“A fanmeeting..?” I said to a girl who came to approached me a while ago.

“Yes, a fan meeting..” She said. “You don’t need to pay anything for the plane or the hotel. You only need to bring money for your shopping. Do you think your mom will allow you to go?”

I was rather surprised when this girl came and poked me on my shoulder and telling me about this fanmeeting thing. This girl’s name is Somin, she’s known to be a very quiet person in my class and one of those girls who’s crazy about idol stars. We never talked much except when we are assigned to group tasks.
“Are you sure that i don’t have to pay for anything?” I asked her, to make sure that I am not being fooled or conned.

“Yes.” She answered. “I got the tickets from winning a contest. But the thing is they told me that the requirement is to bring along someone else because the ticket is for two. So if I can’t bring anyone, they will take my tickets away and gave it some other competitors.. So Hyosun..”
She grabbed my hand and looked at me in the eyes, “Please… I can’t miss this fanmeeting!!”

Hearing the word ‘Bali’ and ‘Free’, not to mention my situation.. How can i resist this offer?
I’m not really sure what this fanmeeting contest she’s entering.
But if it’s a ‘fan’ and a ‘meeting’, and considering Somin being a fangirl, What else could it mean but fans meeting each other in Bali?
I’m sure they will just be talking to each other about their idol. And I’m sure I can just survive by talking about Justin Timberlake!
 

“SURE! I’ll be happy to go with you!!!” I said as I hold her hands while smilling widely at her. She started to smile as well and sighed in relief. She was glad that she has found someone to go with her and her ticket won’t be taken away.

However… I’m not sure whether I’ve made a good choice or a bad choice for going to this trip after meeting this one annoying idiot named Jonghyun..
