Chapter 2

Aish! I was too rude! Well she should have been watching what she was doing! I was yelling in my thoughts trying to justify myself for yelling at a beautiful girl. On the plus side I got her number… I smiled… But she might be angry because of the way I acted?! Well I could call her over make her get me a doughnut or something

“Hyung?” I heard

“Yeah?”

“Are you okay? I’ve been calling you” Key asked

“It’s because of you!” I yelled at Key

“What did I do?” Key laughed at me

“IbumpedintothisgirlattheairportandiwasrudetoherbecauseIhangoutwithyoutoomuchandshegavemehernumber!” I told Key

“Man breathe!” he said patting my back “Be happy you got her number!” he laughed “Wait! Is she a crazy fan?”

“I don’t think so… She didn’t scream… She turned away and picked up her stuff and I just walked away. She didn’t follow…” I said getting up and looking out the blinds at the front parking lot “Yeah no new people in the lot… And she only gave me her number because she felt bad about breaking my glasses and she wanted to repay me somehow”

“Well don’t think about it too much and come eat!” Key said dragging me out of the room. I walked into the dining room and grabbed a chair.

“Where’s Taemin?” Onew asked

“Who cares? It’s quieter without his whining” I mumbled and Minho kicked me

“He said he’d go to the market to get the milk he forgot” Key answered

“It’s the third time he ‘forgot’ something this week!” Onew said

“Maybe he likes it there!” Key defended

“He probably hangs out in the vegetable isle pretending he has friends” I mumbled again earning another kick from Minho. This time Key heard

“You know what!? I’m tired of your little attitude you’ve got goin with Taemin! Leave him alone Jonghyun!” Key came after me with the spatula

“Umma! I’ll be good!” I yelled running away

The truth is I do like Taemin… It’s just he acts so childish… Everyone goes on hands and knees for that kid whenever he pouts… Which is very cute… Gah! That kid needs to grow up!

I need to quit thinking about that kid and get back to the other topic at hand… “When should I call her? Or should I text?” I mumbled to myself later on that night during ‘family time’ in the dorm. I was hugging my phone

“Hyung can I borrow your phone?” Key asked

“Go get yours!”

“I’m too lazy! I’ll give it right back!” Key pleaded and gave me puppy eyes so I handed it to him

“In the time it took you to give me puppy eyes you could have gotten your own phone “

“Here” Key gave it back

“I immediately checked my messages because who knows who he texted and I found it! He didn’t!?

To: ~I’m Sorry~

I’ll take you up on that offer! Meet me tomorrow 1:00pm?

“Key what did you- AHHHH!” I jumped when my phone vibrated Key just laughed

“You were having so much trouble so I helped you” He smiled at me

I opened the reply

To: ~Broken Sunglasses~

Sure!

I waited almost falling asleep. I couldn’t sleep because I kept thinking about today… Will it turn out okay? I hope so… Key helped me so…

“Broken glasses?” I heard and I looked up and there she was… She must be the most beautiful girl on earth… You’re here on business Jonghyn!

“Follow me.” I told her before entering the café we were in front of.

We sat at the table and ordered drinks for the both of us.

“Okay so here’s how it goes” I handed her two papers

“I will show up when needed?” She read aloud off of the one paper

“Yes”

“That’s all that’s on here” she said flipping to the other page obviously confused

“Heres how it works you show up when I call you, for anything I want. I mark off one of those days you have 25 days of service. Each worth around 15 dollars. That way you pay off your debt to me! Questions?”

“Your math doesn’t add up right but okay. Also I should tell you I work so this could be a problem”

“Just get there” I said sipping the last sips of my coffee”

“So rude…” she mumbled

“What was that?” I asked raising an eyebrow

“Nothing Jonghyun” she said putting the papers way and getting up

“I’ll leave first” she said bowing and walking towards the door

“So she does know who I am…”
