Foreword
I wasn't quite sure what it was that caught my attention with this girl. Maybe it was her hair that she had wrapped so elgenatly into a braid, or the pink aura that seemed to be emitting around her. Something about this girl had me mesmerized and I couldn't look away.
I had my back turned away from the door and my face towards Hyorin-the "beautiful" Queenka or so she calls herself. To be honest, I was speaking to my cousin Taemin, however she was getting in the middle of our conversation. Now, don't get me wrong yeah she is a pretty girl. But not all pretty girls had nice hearts. She was a gold digger bimbo who only looked for her own personal gains. I made it clear many times I wasn't interested in her, but for some odd reason she thought I was.
"Oppa~" She cooed in my ear as her fingers trailed down my shirt. I stared at her and felt nothing towards this girl. Her actions weren't seducing me nor did my heart race at the sight of her. I removed her hands from my shirt and placed it on her own desk.
"Tonight...you said we'd go out~" She wrapped her arms around my neck after I had removed them. I looked at her confused. When did I ever say that?! "I said it?" I asked her. She nodded pouting her lips at me. I cringed inwardly at the sight of her. Girls and their aegyo. Disgusting. How did some guys like that? I removed her arms from my neck. "I don't remember," I told her turning around, and unfortunately getting face to face to the monster of this classroom. Saem Kim.
"Class began 5 minutes ago Kim Jongin, yet you still haven't opened your books." He crossed his arms in front of me.
"My name is Kai, Saem." I sighed heavily slouching down heavily into my chair. "Kai, Jongin, whatever your name is, don't think that just because your father owns this school that you're going to get special treatment." He glared at me.
I scoffed at the teacher. Don't worry all I plan to do is sleep in this class. I smirked at him. "Yes Sir," I said saluting him.
"Excuse me," A girl's voice came from the door. Everyone's heads turned towards the door thankfully away from me giving me a chance to get comfortable in my seat and pulling out the damn textbooks.
"I'm the new transfer student. Im Yoona." The girl spoke softly. I looked up for a moment and saw the girl standing shyly by the door. She smiled at the teacher with a shy smile and bowed 90 degrees.
At first it was a glance, but when I looked back at her I found myself into a daze. I studied her carefully. She was definitely pretty. Not like Hyorin though. It was different. This girl wore no makeup I was sure of that but she had a natural pink blush laid upon her cheeks and her eyes my god. She looked like a deer. Why were they so big? And why was there a soft pink glow surrounded by her? Is she an angel? Or are my eyes just playing tricks on me. Her hair was wrapped loosely in a braid and it hung down to her waist. It looked so effortless that it made her shine. She really was resembling like an angel.
What am I saying...this girl is just some random girl transferring. She's just really pretty that's all.
Guess I wasn't the only one captured by the girl. All the boys in classroom were staring at her like hungry wolves. I tsk-ed at them mentally. Pabos
I turned to my right and saw my best friend quietly texting away. Thank god he wasn't blinded by her beauty.
"Oh, Yoona yes please take a seat next to Sehun." Saem said smiling cheerfully at her. I glared at the teacher's back. He never greeted anyone this happily before. Isn't he married?
She slid into the seat next to Sehun and gave him a tentative smile.
I opened my stupid Calculus book. Pfft. Math. Who needs this . I'm not going to do be wondering the velocity of speed in dance school. I was taking these horrible classes because my father, the dean of this school was making me.
"Everyone start the questions on page 192." The teacher returned to his usual self. Finally.
I flipped to the page Saem requested us. I started the problem but I couldn't finish it. I was never the best at Math, I don't know how I even ended up in this math class.
I glanced over at Sehun and saw how he was quickly conversing with Yoona, they were solving the problem together.
I glanced at the clock 20 more minutes left of this goddamn class.
15 minutes.
10 minutes...
5 minutes...
I grabbed my books and was the first one out of the door when the bell rang. I faintly heard Hyorin call my name. I rolled my eyes, As if I'd wait for her. I was so glad that the day had ended. I just wanted to be out of this hell hole.
The halls began to fill with students who came rushing out of their classrooms just like me.
I love the students at this school. Why? Because they don't disturb me. I look at them once and they don't even dare thinking of speaking to me. Well some of the girls don't. others well..they'll follow me around as if I can't hear their whispering. To hell with them.
I pulled my car keys out as I walked into the school parking lot looking for my red car.
"Yah Kai!" I turned around saw little Sehun running towards me. His hair bouncing as he ran. I smiled slightly at him. This kid...
"Where are you going?" He asked when he reached me. I opened my car door throwing the books in the back.
"The studio where else?" I answered him bluntly. "Hyung, you go there everyday!" He whined. I shrugged as I started my car. "I'll see you later." I told him driving out of the lot.
I spent half my days in the studio. Sometimes when I'm dancing real late I'll sleep there but mostly I sleep over Sehun's apartment.
No annoying maids pestering me. Sehun lives on his own in his own apartment building. Well his parents building but you get the jist of it. They own the building and he lives on one of the floors.Yup Sehunnie has a whole floor to himself.
A car screeched at me halting to a stop as I approached. I glared at the driver angrily. "HEY YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE?!" He barked at me.
I looked forward and saw I was on the opposite end of the road. Nice going Kai.
I turned the car around in a U-turn and began driving on the right side of the road.
What the heck is wrong with me today? Aish.
I ruffled my hair pushing to back with one hand on the steering wheel. As I looked out the window I couldn't help but noticing two familiar figures. Sehun and his 'new best friend' Yoona. I stopped my car across from the two and watched them carefully. Sehun was bidding goodbye to her.
I got out of my car tempted to ask all the questions that were going through my head. Why was he taking care of this girl? He never once showed interest in any girl. Why Yoona?
I crossed the street and was left on the same street with Yoona.
I suspiciously watched Yoona carefully she was waiting patiently for the sign to turn green. Seems pretty normal.
The light turned green but Yoona stayed put. She took a small step forward but suddenly faltered and stopped.
What the heck?
I studied her carefully with crossed arms. What was she doing? She held onto her books tightly and was blinking numerous times. "Please not now..." I heard her say. I approached her slowly and looked at her questioningly.
The lights kept changing but she stayed put not moving at all. What's going on with her?
The light wasn't green anymore and now it was red. Yoona took a deep breath and took a step forward. My eyes widened as I saw a car speeding by towards her.
"Ya!" I yelled pulling her off the road and back into the street. I glared at her angrily. "Are you crazy? Didn't you see the light turn red?"
She didn't seem to be paying attention to me. She was staring at my hand that was gripped over hers. Her eyes rolled back a few times and finally she looked at me.
"Sorry...I didn't see." She said hesitantly looking at me with fear on her face. I softened my glare and gulped. How did she have the power to make me feel guilty for yelling?
"Are you okay?" I asked her peering into her scared wide eyes. She nodded trying to break free from my hands. I let her go momentarily forgetting that I had a strong grip on her.
"Thank you," She bowed moving a step back. I tilted my head at her. Is she afraid of me? Cause I yelled at her?
She raised her head and smiled at me.
Woah, seeing her upclose...doesn't do her beauty justice. Her hair is really long. All the way to her waist. I never noticed any girls' hair or even cared but Yoona's braid for some reason attracted me. Something about it brought a pure essence into her. She tucked a small strand of hair behind her ear before slowly turning around. How can one human being be so graceful?
"Wait..." I said taking a step foward. She turned back startled at the sound of my voice. Right when she met my eyes I felt weak at my knees and lost the courage to speak to her. "Nevermind." I murmured looking down embarrassed. I never get embarrassed. What the hell?
Yoona nodded slowly at me before turning around and walking away. I stayed put at my spot making sure she crossed the road carefully.
Why am I so worried for this girl?
Is it cause she's not like any other girl I met?
The way she looks, the way she's dressed, the way she talks...it was all different.
It intrguied me.
I was curious about her.
