As Long As I'm Alive
Running to Happiness with Secrets“Don’t ever try to find me. I hate those bastards and everyone connected to them. You’re dead to me Kim Myungsoo. I’m leaving you for real this time.”
The call was then dropped.
Sungyeol and Woohyun walked on the streets with no destination set in mind.
“Hey….” Woohyun starts. “Are you okay?”
“I feel freaken’ awesome.” Sungyeol replied differently.
Woohyun knew the boy wasn’t finished, and kept quiet.
“It’s weird though,” Sungyeol continued. “I feel a bit empty at the same time.”
“Empty?” Woohyun repeated the word.
“Never mind.” Sungyeol picked up his steps.

It had been over a week and Sungyeol still hadn’t picked up any of Myungsoo’s calls. Even the voicemail was full by now. According to Nara, the boy has apparently taken a short break from the bookstore as well.
“Myungsoo, look. I did do bad things in the past to that guy, but it was a mistake and I regret it. Can we just get over the phase and practice like before?” Hoya broke the silence in the dance room.
“What the hell. This isn’t some phase. You physically and mentally hurt him. Are you even human?” Myungsoo indirectly protected Sungyeol.
“What do you want me to do then?”
“You and Dongwoo. Apologize for everything you’ve done.” Myungsoo said forcefully.
“I don’t even know if when I’ll ever see him again.” Hoya notified the boy.
“I’ll make it happen. Not now, but soon. You better have that apology written. Myungsoo threatened as he left the room.

“I’m back.” Woohyun called as he entered the hotel room.
“I’m bored to death! I want to go out!” Sungyeol whined like a child.
“No one is stopping you. You’re the only one stopping yourself.” Woohyun pointed out.
“I feel so lonely going out alone though….follow me.” Sungyeol got up from his seat.
“Am I your dog?” Woohyun asked blankly.
“No. You’re my toy.” Sungyeol said as he snickered. “I know you’ll be there and follow me till the end.” ____________________________________________________________________________
“Let’s get wasted!” Sungyeol screamed on top of his lungs.
“This is why you wanted to come to Hongdae?” Woohyun glared at Sungyeol. “We’re going back.” He grabbed onto Sungyeol’s wrist.
“Nope. That’s not happening tonight.” Sungyeol slapped Wouhyun hard on his forearm, causing the boy to release his wrist. “Catch me if you can!!”
Sungyeol dashed away like a bullet.
“Yah! Lee Sungyeol! Get your back here right now!” Woohyun screamed on the crowded streets.
Sungyeol didn’t care though. He didn’t even look back. He wanted to run away, just like he did before.
It wasn’t long until Sungyeol found a bar he wanted to go into. It was the same one he went together with Myungsoo.
“Here we go again.” He said to himself before waking into the club.
Once he enters, he looks at the same chair Myungsoo sat on the last time they came together. He replayed the scene where the idol was flirting with a girl in his head over and over again. His eyes begin to water. Drops of tears slid down the corner of his eyes to his cheeks. He sniffles a bit and tries to get himself together.
Sungyeol’s phone vibrates in his back pocket. He takes it out and texts the person back.
To: Woohyun,
“I’m sorry, but if you let me be for tonight, I’ll come back in the morning. I promise.”
A pair of hands suddenly grabs a hold of Sungyeol’s waist, pulling him back into someone’s chest.
“Hey, remember me? “ A deep voice whispers into Sungyeol’s left ear.
The slightly scared boy turns around a sees someone that looks quite familiar.
“Uhhh, I think you have the wrong per-” he remembered.
