I ship for two reasons. Realness and Possibility. Regardless how cute a couple would look, I do not ship it unless I see even a hint of realness. Realness is not something strictly related to interactions. Sometimes, it could be, on the most interesting occasions, the lack there of.

Never had I find Kyuhyun attractive enough to be paired with anyone except SJ members, nor did it ever occur to me to ship Sungmin with Sooyoung because they look cute together. However, it is in cases like these, wherein you do not have any other reason to put a pairing together except for the sole fact that they are obviously suspicious, when an OTP appears.

It is when you'd get to ship everyone with anyone but you'd still come back to that original couple. The couple who got you not because of anything else except for the simple fact that they are real.
