Hyejin clutched onto her head and her eyes opened slowly. "Oh, you're awake." She tried to turn around to see who was talking but that person stopped her.

"Don't. You are very weak right now."

"Jung Daehyun..?"

"Yeah and is that how you treat someone who just saved you?" Daehyun snorted.

"Why.. why am I here?" Hyejin ignored his question and asked.

"Wow, you can't even remember what happened 5 minutes ago? And you claim yourself to be the Council President. Kudos to you." Daehyun smirked.

Hyejin closed her eyes and frowned. "I.. fainted, right?"

"Yeah. And you are having a high fever right now." Then he reached over and touched her forehead, the other hand on his.

"Oh it subsided." He added.

"Why did you stay with me?" She asked carefully.

"I wanted to skip lessons." He brushed imaginary lint off his uniform boredly.

She rolled her eyes and asked him to go back to his class, but he said, "And what will happen when I'm gone? I don't want to see you slogging your guts out in the council room." Daehyun side eyed her.

Hyejin was about to retort him but stopped when she realised what he said was right.

"Have a good rest, just leave the other matters to Jinki-sshi and the others or do you want me to you home?" Daehyun raised an eyebrow.

"No thank you, I have legs thank you very much." With that, she forced herself to sit up and got off the bed.

Before leaving the room, she stopped in front of the door and whispered a 'thanks' without looking back.

Daehyun's mouth hitched a little but he didn't say anything.
