"Wu Yifan. Are you...are you calling off the engagement?" Yifan didn't answer. He can't even look at his friend in the eye. Leeteuk eyed his childhood friend in awe. Not only because he was hearing it from him but because they both knew there was no way out of this marriage. 

 

The Wus and the Zhangs were almost family by affinity. There were generations of good friendships even before Yifan's and Yixing's parents decided to settle in Korea. Their fathers were bethroted even before they were born but one of the ultrasounds was incorrect and they turned out to be both males. They became the best of friends though. Both eager to prove themselves, they left their families' billion dollar businesses and started on their own in a different country. Both found the love of their lives and as their partnership grew, so was their desire to finally become family.

 

Wu Mama gave birth to a son and a year later, Zhang Mama to a daughter. Both of the offsprings' fates were sealed then.
