ABOUT
BEAUTY is a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment on 2014. The quintent consists of Jiwoo, Hana, Hwayoung, Jiyun and Eve. Stated by the company, the group will make their debut on June 2014 with Rum Pum Pum Pum.
CASTING & PRE DEBUT
Dae Jiwoo is the longest member that had been trained under SM Ent. as she had scouted by the company after winning SM Ent Everysing Contest along with Jino and EXO-M Xiumin. The second longest member of BEAUTY who had been chosen to be in the group is Song Jaemin who will go with her stage name, Eve. Eve is a former trainee of Starship Ent. and was transferred to SM Ent. after. Kim Hana is the third member to be able to debut with BEAUTY. Hana is a former trainee of TS Ent. which she was transferred to SM Ent. after SECRET debuted. Kwon Jiyun, being the fourth member had able to get through company by audition. Last but not least, the shortest training member is Choi Hwayoung. Hwayoung also get in SM Ent. by auditioning.
2013 & 2014: group & debut
BEAUTY was introduced as 'ASIA'S VISUAL' through a Youtube video teaser released on September 25, 2013. For about a month, SM Entertainment revealed informations about the groups as well as revealing the members through new portals on their official website. Their debut mini album, 'First Love' is going to release on June 2014.
