Description
Kim Myungsoo was the typical popular, cocky and arrogant casanova, that is until he was involved in a terrible accident that stole his vision.
Now blind and vulnerable, Myungsoo has no choice but to become dependent and adjust to living without seeing.
Unknowingly to Myungsoo, his tragedy that he thought have ruined his life have caused him to cross paths with the one girl that will change his perspective in life, forever.
Foreword
It was a typical night for Myungsoo. By now, he was half drunk as usual surrounded by pretty girls as he tells silly, flirtatious jokes. Life has always been like this for him, always surrounded by women with their lustful eyes as they give every speck of attention towards him.
He picked out the prettiest girl in the club and dragged her towards the bar area, leaving a drunk Sungyeol dancing like mad on the dance floor.
Myungsoo pulled her waist closer to him, trailing his sharp, seductive eyes all over her body. Just when he was about to lean towards the girl for a kiss, his shoulder was jerked back and a loud 'slap!' was heard.
He rubbed his reddened cheek as his eyes met with a girl fuming with anger. Her hands were balled into fist as she clenched her teeth.
'What the hell?'
"I can't believe you did this to me, L! I trusted you!"
He blinked twice, clearly confused. "Um sorry, do I know you?"
"L! I'm your girlfriend for Christ's sake!" The girl shouted, her eyes were starting to fill up with tears.
Myungsoo only tilted his head on the side and squinted his eyes towards her. He was too drunk to remember his latest girlfriend.
'oh, right, right, right. Girlfriend!'
"Oh, Sooyeon!"
She immediately have glowering expression etched on her face.
"Sooyoung?"
Her eyes were basically shooting daggers at him
"Soohyun?"
She clenched her teeth and balled her hands into a fist.
"Uh Soo.. Er- wait, Im pretty sure it's Soo-something. Is it Sooju-"
Slap!
"It's Naeun, you !" She cried out loud and stomped her way out of the scene as she started sobbing.
Myungsoo wiggled his jaw making sure it was still intact, surprised by her strength. "Wow, not even close." He mumbled.
He looked around and saw everyone staring at him and a drunk Sungyeol laughing his off. Myungsoo rolled his eyes at Sungyeol and glared at the crowd with his cold eyes, telling them to mind their own business.
"Erm, right.. Where were we?" He ask the girl beside him as he sneaked his arms around her waist, clearly unaffected by what just happened.
"Wait. Was that your girlfriend?"
"Ex-girlfriend actually," He corrected. "Weren't you watching?"
"As expected by the popular, mysterious casanova of the university. You know, maybe you should listen to other people's advice and try being in a serious relationship for once." She chuckled as she traced his chest with her fingertips.
Myungsoo could only scoffed at her silly words.
"That Sooyoung girl-"
"Naeun." She corrected.
"Whatever- was getting too clingy anyways. Look, I'm not looking for a serious relationship. I don't care about anyone and I don't give a damn about feelings. I'm just here to enjoy my time. Now if my ways bothers you, I don't mind you leaving. I have others waiting for me."
The girl could only shake her head slightly and smirked at him"Mmm, actually, I think I'm fine with that."
And with that, wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in for a kiss.
This was life for Kim Myungsoo. This was life worth living. There was absolutely no way he would get out of it. Besides, he doesn't mind being a bachelor his whole life.
The great Kim Myungsoo will never, ever settle down. Besides, love for him does not exist. Myungsoo swore to himself that he would never love anyone. And there was absolutely, absolutely no one that could make him think otherwise.
Or so he thought.
