Myungsoo
A week has passed and the two went on like usual. But today, is just weird. Krystal was awfully quiet today. Like really quiet. Which is weird because yesterday she was talking nonstop. She was suppose to get her result for her application in a US university soon. Krystal was very excited, she was confident that she'll get accepted. "I've always planned on going back to the US to study." She said yesterday. "Back to the US? You've been there before?" He asked. "I was born there. It's my dream to study in Princeton there." During the previous day she babbled on and on about Princeton. Telling him her goals and dreams. Myungsoo figured she's serious about this, so he hoped for the best for her. But now, she's quiet. Too quiet. Myungsoo is not used to this quiet Krystal. Right when she came in this morning she just simply greeted him. She never said anything else besides a few simple questions. This Krystal creeps Myungsoo out. This is just not normal. Myungsoo was reading his Braille book while Krystal seemed to be at her usual spot, sitting on a chair beside his bed. He's bothered by how quiet she is, he wanted to ask her what's wrong, but at the same time he didn't want to. He's just really horrible at this type of situations. He ran his hand down on a page of his book, feeling the many bumps. Myungsoo sighed, giving up. "Why are you so quiet today? It's creeping me out." No reply. "Krystal?" "Hmm?" She probably zoned out. Myungsoo rubbed the back of his head. "Uh, what's wrong?" He felt weird hearing that come out of his mouth. "Nothing" He felt so awkward. "..okay. Um, how'd your application go? Did you get accepted?" She got quiet again, didn't say anything. Myungsoo sighed, messing up the back of his head. "Did something happen?" He let whatever thought came in his mind because he doesn't know the right words to say. "What? You didn't get accepted or something?" He then heard a short sniffle. Myungsoo got nervous. Did he say something wrong? After a few moments in silence, she finally spoke. "No.. I didn't get in." Her voice was so low and so not her usual voice. "Oh... Well ." Myungsoo whispered. Now what? He heard her sniffle a few times. Is she crying? "Oh God," Myungsoo mumbled to himself. "Don't tell me she's crying." Her sniffle now sounded like low sobs. 'Damn it, she's crying' he thought. He hates getting stuck in this type of situation. "Yah, Krystal, if you're gonna cry, don't do it near me." Her crying is now more audible. Myungsoo wishes there was an instruction booklet for these types of situations. Like, 'How to Comfort Crying Girls for Dummies aka Kim Myungsoo' "I hate crying girls, don't cry near me" he mumbled. He feel bad that she's crying, he really does. But how the hell is he supposed to handle crying girls. He's clueless with these stuff. If anything, he knows more about making girls cry than how to comfort them. "I just.. I really wanted to get in, a-and" she whispered. 'Oh God, please don't..' Myungsoo is trying to shake off his pity for her. "I got rejected!" She started sobbing. "I was so confident I'll get in!" Myungsoo crossed his arms. Nope, he refuses to do anything. "It's my dream to go there!" He furrowed his eyebrows. Just gonna stay there listening to her cry. "I've planned my whole life based on studying there!" He started to rock himself back and forth. Yep, heartless is what Myungsoo is. "I feel so pathetic," He messed up the back of his head. Still a heartless . "I wonder what my family's reaction will be.." He's tapping his fingertips on his Braille book. She should be done soon anyways. "It's always been my number one goal to go there" Tap - Tap - Tap - TipTip Tap Any minute now. Just gonna wait until she's done. "I feel like a failure, I hate myself!" She cried out loud. Myungsoo groaned. He moved his head up, as if asking the ceiling, 'Really? Are you serious? Does this really have to happen to me? Seriously?' Myungsoo sighed. He moved h
