Taeyeon POV

 

*whispers* "Taeyeon it's time to wake up" I could hear someone talking to me but I was way to tired to listen to them. 

"Yah you better get up right now". I was getting irritated cause someone kept disturbing my sleep. "5 more minutes umma". I pulled the blanket over my head  so she would get the idea I didn't want to get up yet. 

"Umma? Yah when did I become your umma huh. I'm to young to be an umma"  I felt the blanket come flying off of me while cold air past by my body. I looked up and saw my best friend Yoona standing there with her arm folded not looking to pleased. 

"Ahh yoong what are you doing here so early" I rested me head back on my pillow closing my eyes

"Um Pabo did you forget about something~ like ummm maybe something called SCHOOL" 

My eyes shot open and i jumped off the bed once I realised we had school today. 

"Aish we're gonna be late" I said while running toward the bathroom to get ready.

"I'll be down stairs. and yeah your right you better hurry or we'll be late and if we are your dead you got it shorty".

I stuck my head out the door with my tooth brush in my mouth acting like I was angry. "No need to bring um this shorty " I struggled to say it since the tooth brush was in my mouth plus I was spitting a lot haha. But I still have to try be angry. 

"Aw taeng your so cute when you try to act angry. Your just like a little kid keke" she said while pinching my cheeks.

"Aish this girl... Just go away so I can get ready" she started to walk towards my door to go down stairs but before she left she turned around.

"By the way taeng nice duck bra you got there" *wink* 

I looked down and noticed you could see my bra through the gap of the door. I could feel my cheeks getting hot. I quickly shut the door and I could Hear yoona laughing while leaving my room. "Aish how embarrassing" 

 

After about 10 minutes I was finally ready I went down stairs to meet yoona. I walked in the kitchen and see that shikshin with full with food in it. If people saw her and they didn't know her they would of thought that she hasn't eating in days. "Ah so that's why you came to pick me up today, so you can eat all my food huh?" I said jokingly 

"Yah don't talk like that to your friend she can come here and eat our food  anytime she want" my mum said to me.

"Ah thanks you auntie" she walked to my mum and hugged her while doing that she stuck her tongue out at me.

*Whining*  "mum did you just see that" my mum looked around 

 yoona just played all innocent. "What I didn't see anything" 

"Yoona just... Aish never mind lets go yoong or we're gonna be late" 

"Well that's your fault for sleeping in" she got up and grabbed her back while I walked to my mum to say bye. 

*hugs and kisses cheek* "bye umma" me and yoona walked to the door

"Aren't you gonna eat something tae" my mum asked.

"I'll just buy something at school umma" 

"Ah okay then make sure you eat ok?"

"Yes umma" she always treats me like a little kid

"Have fun at school girls"

"We will auntie" 

I don't think I will, school is a nightmare.

 

 

While walking to school I couldn't help it but I kept yawning I'm must be really tired.

"Taeng why are you yawning so much. Did you stay up late?" 

"Yes" was all I replied cause I didn't want to tell her the reason why I was up all night. But I know she would ask why and I would have to tell her. 

"Why" she looked at me with concern

"I just had to finish my assignment" I said 

"What assignment" she seemed confused since we are like in almost every class together

"Biology" I said softly

"Huh biology? Taeng you already finished your biology one ages ago"

"Uh ye~yeah I know.... I...I... I was just fix~flicking it abit" curse still stuttering she's gonna know I'm lying.

"Taeng why are you lying?"

"I...I'm not" stupid ing stuttering

"Taeng I've known you for 8 years. I know when your lying" 

Wow I just realised we've been friends for so long.

"Are you gonna tell me" she said still facing the way we were walking. 

"It just got ruined yoong no big deal" 

"If it's no big deal why did you lie about it" 

"Cause I didn't want you to get angry" I just kept my head down not really wanting to look at her cause I know she's s gonna get angry.

"Why would I get angry huh"

I didn't say anything I really didn't want to tell her it's really no big deal plus 

"Hara and hyuna ruined it huh" I could hear the angry in her voice while she was talking.

"It was an accident" I didn't want to lie but I don't want her to get angry at them

 

 

Flashback yesterday (tae POV)

 

School had just finished and I was waiting for my bus to go home cause I didn't want to walk by myself. Yoona wasn't there cause her dad came and picked her up they offered to drive me home but I declined there offer. So I  was just chillen there minding my own business.

"Her loser" I turned around and saw the two people that make my life a living hell all the time. I chose to ignore them.

"Yah are you just gonna Ignore me like that. I'm talking to you" cant these girls just leave me alone

"If you're not gonna talk to us were just gonna Do something to make you talk"

 They started grabbing My bag and throwing all my books on the floor.

"Hey give it back dont touch that" I was getting angry but of course I couldn't do anything I wasn't as strong as them.

"Now you know not to ignore us and this won't happen" some of my books were on the road lucky there wasn't any cars. i was picking up all my stuff of f of the road once I got everything off the road I stood up ready to leave.

"Hey loser you forgot one" I turned around and saw my biology assignment which is due tomorrow.

"Give it back that's important" I walk up to Hara and tried to grab it but she was too fast.

"It's due tomorrow right" she asked while looking at the book

"Yeah why"

"Oh okay well you can have it back since it's due tomorrow I don't want to be too mean" she put the book in front of her ready to past it to me. I went to grab it but before I could get my hand on it, it went flying toward the drain I watched as it fell down into the muddy water.

"Just kidding have fun finishing your assignment tonight loser" they said that as they walked away laughing.

" how am I gonna finish all that in one night."

 

End of flashback

 

 

 

"Taeng do you expect me to believe you saying it was an accident" I could see she was really angry. She is always so protective of me that's why I love her like my own sister.

*sigh* "no but just forget about it okay. I finished my assignment so thats all that matters right?" I looked at her and could still see angry in her eyes

"Please yoong just forget about it. I wrapped my arm around her and acted childish that usually made her happy and I was right cause now she smiling at me.

"Okay taeng" she said as we reached the school gate with 5 minuets to spare before the bell went.

 "Your lucky we made it in time taeng or I would of killed you" she said playfully.

"Ah no you wouldn't you love me to much keke" I pouted cutely to her.

"Yeah that right I do your just so cute like a riddle baby" she said while using her cute voice

(You guys  know the cute voice I'm talking about right kekek)

"Aish don't youse that voice on me" I said while blocking my ears.

"You know you love it"

 

BEEEP BEEEP

 

the bell went and we had biology first I was nervous cause I didn't want yoona to do anything to Hara and hyuna since they are in that class with us. We walked in and sat at the back waiting for the other students to come in and for the teacher to Come also. Just then Hara and hyuna and the rest of their gang walked in I could see yoona staring that them angrily. She was ready to get up and say something but I held her hand and just shook my head saying to just let it go. She got the idea and just sat down. Hara and hyuna were just making out with there boyfriends i tried not to look cause I sorta have a crush on haras boyfriend of course it's never gonna happen cause I'm "the nerdy loner"

I didn't realise I was staring at them.

"Do you have a staring problem or something" I quickly looked away when Hara said that trying not to draw to much attention to myself. 

"Are you jealous or something loser" I just kept looking to the front but I could see her smirking from the corner of me eye.

"Why would she be jealous of you huh" I heard yoona say and she was pissed. 

"Why wouldn't she. I'm beautiful, y and have an amazing boyfriends I bet she wishes she had him huh"

"Haha beautiful you look like a frog eyed rat. (Dont get angry she doesn't really look like that I really love Hara so no hate hehe) And taeyeon can get someone 100x better then your stupid boyfriend" Hara looked shocked at what she was just called I must admit it was pretty funny but i held my laugh In. I saw Hara stand up like she was gonna walk over to us but wooyoung held her back.

"What's with all the fuss in here huh" mr lee walk in. We all got in out seats and acted like nothing happened.

"Youse are all calm now well good. So now please hand up your assignments"

I saw Hara and hyuna look at me while smirking thinking that I didn't have my assignment but they were wrong cause I do have it. I pulled out my assignment and saw their smirks disappear from their faces. I couldn't help but smile a little when I seen there faces I tried to hide it but. 

"Hey yoong thanks for sticking up for me" I whispered to her when the teacher was busy. 

"Taeng you know I always got you back. I just smiled at her.

 

(Speaker) ATTENTION ALL 12 GRADE STUDENTS ARE TO GO TO THE HALL AFTER LUNCH FOR AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. I REPEAT ALL 12 GRADE STUDENTS TO THE HALL AFTER LUNCH. 

 

Hmmm I wonder what that's for.

 

Class went by quick and it was easy. It was now lunch time and I was starving yoona and I were sitting down eating our lunch of course yoona had a mountain of food on her plate. But she didn't care what people thought.

"So what do you think the announcement is going to be" I asked yoona while eating my food. 

"I don't know but it better be something good" she said while taking another massive spoon full of her food.

"Yeah I hope it is" 

 

BEEEEP BEEEEP

 

The bell rang and all the grade 12 students made their way to the hall while the other grades went to their last period. Yoona and I sat somewhere close to the middle. A tall tanned girl sat next to me and two of her friends one was really tall and she had a big bag of chips in her hands and the other one was a short girl but she wasn't that short. The hall was still noisy while waiting for the teacher to go on stage to make his announcement. 

"Yah Sooyoung you shikshin do you have to eat that right now" I heard the one next to me yell at the tall girls who goes by the name of Sooyoung. I laughed quietly cause it reminds me of me and yoona and how we act with each other. 

"Shut up dark yuri haha" I couldn't help but to keep laughing.

yoona was looking at me weirdly and so where the three girls next to me I quickly looked down at my lap and stopped laughing. I felt nervous having 4 pairs of eyes staring at me. 

"Is something funny" the girls next to me asked me. She seemed to be angry but Im not sure. 

"Uh no~no so~sorry" I said while still keeping my head down. 

"Kekekeke" I looked up and saw all of them laughing I was so confused I didn't even know what was going on. 

"You really are cute aren't you" said the one next to me. I didn't say anything I was just a bit shocked no ones called me cute except yoona and my mum. 

"Hi I'm... She was cut of when there was a sudden voice coming from the stage.

 

"Attention quiet down please." He waited for everyone to keep quiet. I was happy he talked when  he did it was starting to get awkward for me. 

"Okay I've called you all here today to tell you that 10 lucky students will get a chance to go to America." There were lots of gasp and little screams everyone was excited.

"Quiet I know your excited but let me finish. As I was saying 10 lucky students will get to go to America for and exchange program you will stay there for 1 month you will go to a school in america and you will live with the student that school provides you with. All you had to do is sign the permission that will be handed to you after this the forms should be back by the end of the week. Me and a few other teachers will chooses the student with the best grades and who has been going good throughout the year. So if you're interested please get a form and bring it back before Friday. Okay you may all leave now. 

 

Once he said that the hall was full of noise everyone was excited and happy a lot of people wanted to go. I'm not sure if I would want to go but it does sound interesting.

"Taeyeon let's go get a form" yoona said while dragging me to the form area which was now packed with people around it. 

"You want to go on the trip yoona" 

"Of course taeng this is a good opportunity and plus it gets us away from this hole of a school for a month keke" well that's true

"Yeah your right" we both got a form and went outside where it wasnt that packed with people." Yoona was really excited.

"Don't get too excited yoong we might not even get chosen" I said while reading the form.

"Yah don't think like that think positive taeng plus your a "nerd" remember you have great grades and you have been good all thought the year and so have I" 

"Well that's true" 

 

I really hope yoona and I can get to go on this trip it would be a great opportunity like yoona  said. And it would be good to get away from this place and the people here.
