Foreword
I felt the water entering my lungs. I wondered how fishes would breathe. But that didn't matter. I knew this was the end for me. I could already feel my throat becoming one with the water. I'm going to miss my life. My friends. My family. Minji. Everyone. I wonder if anyone would even notice my disappearance. Umma, Appa, I'll see you in Heaven.
I swam to the bottom of the lake. To save her. I felt the cold water lingering my entire body as I kept swimming down. The water was cold as ice. But appa always told me to be strong. The parents looked so pale and layed in the car lifelessly. Then I saw the girl. She looked like the same age as me. I felt sorry because she was going to die at a young age. But no, I wasn't going to let her die. Because she's just a 7 year old kid like me. I used all my boy strength to open the stuck door. I grabbed her arm and pulled her up to the top. I suddenly felt my lungs losing air. Once we got to the top of the pier, I layed her down carefully on the wooden platform of the pier. What was I supposed to do? I don't even know C.P.R. I'm just a kid. I saw her waking up, she coughed out some water a bit. She started look worried. I took pity on the new orphan.
