I bring you back from my memories.    

I promised myself I would be fine without you, but I can’t help it.      

   I take in liquor which I don’t even know how to handle trying to fill my empty heart.  

  A day without you is too long. I pray that I may please forget you.
Without you happiness cannot be found in me. I can’t even shed any tears. I don’t want to live anymore.

Her funeral was a solemn, quiet and small one.

Her family members and friends all gathered to send her off.

Taemin attended her funeral.

He sat quietly on the plastic chair watching as they sent Sulli off.

He kept his eyes on Sulli throughout the whole funeral.

Anytime soon…

Before they closed the coffin, Taemin walked up to her and held her hands.

Her cold, lifeless hands.

He bent down close to her body.

“ I love you forever”

He took out the silver ring from his pocket and slipped it onto Sulli’s finger.

He placed daisies onto her coffin. After all, those were the very same flowers that brought them together.

“ I’ll see you soon…”

Flashback: One week ago

Flatline.

She’s dead.

No use.

Those words rang in his mind.

“ Mr Lee, you’ll have to accept that she’s dead.”

‘NO, she’s not dead! She’ll never be”

“Mr lee, you saw her go flatline.”

The doctor tried to convince Taemin that Sulli was dead.

Taemin did not believe she was dead.

But there was no use denying it now.

He had indeed saw her die right before his eyes.

He knelt down on his knees and looked heavenwards.

“ Why? Why Sulli? Why not me?”

He cried, throwing his hands upwards.

There was no answer of course.

He could have imagined it but he could swear just as he was leaving the cemetery,

He saw a figure in white, sitting on the seat he was sitting on just a few minutes earlier.

The figure was shining as bright as a star he squinted for a closer look.

It was Sulli.

Sulli seemed to have noticed his presence for she turned and waved at him.

I’ll wait

She mouthed.

He smiled back.

The first time he had smiled ever since her death.

Sunrise was imminent , glowing faint light colours colouring the once blank sky.

The strong wind blew against Taemin. He wrapped his scarf closer to his neck.

He was standing on the top of a cliff that overlooked the ocean.

He looked around once again.

Everything looked so beautiful right now.

The wind was pulling him closer and closer to the cliff.

Step by step.

They seemed to talk to him.

They wanted him to follow them and he obliged.

“Sulli”

He softly muttered.

He wondered how she was.

The wind suddenly became stronger, colder.

Like it was angry at him for mentioning his lover’s name.

The wind made his eyes sting.

Tears started to flow.

Tears of Joy, perhaps?

Considering what was going to happen next.

Closer and Closer.

His surroundings seemed alive now.

Everything, the wind, the Ocean, the rocky hills beckoned him to join them.

Come, everything will become better.

He took another step closer to the edge.

Now he could see the calm blue Ocean below.

Taking a deep breath, he took he fell backwards with his arms spread.

“ Sulli, I’ve come”

Taemin awakes to find himself in a room all white.

Has he actually done it ?

He looks up and sees Sulli staring at him.

Yes, yes, he has done it.

Taemin cries out of joy

He cannot believe it.

Sulli bents down and hug him.

“ Shush, Taemin don’t cry I’m here”

She smiles at him.

“ We are finally together, aren’t, we?”

Taemin asks, tears still flowing down his cheeks.

“ Yes and now nothing can separate us”

Taemin pulls her closer and they kiss again.

They take their time because now they have forever.
