2 years pass quickly, for some.

For Taemin and Sulli, it was an antagonizing wait.

Never in their lives had they been craving so much for something.

You can only imagine how excited Taemin was when he found out he could finally go back to Seoul by himself.

Of course, one of the reason was because, his best friend Minho was going to get married.

He couldn’t wait at all.

He could finally see Sulli again.

He had fulfilled one of their promise.

One?

Yes, there were two promises made.

The other one was a secret one made underneath those stars at night.

“Marry Me” Taemin whispered in her ear.

He rubbed the silver ring he had on.

The other pair was in his pocket, he would give it to Sulli when he met her at the wedding.

He hurried over to Minho’s house, with a huge grin on his face.

“Minho hyung! “  Taemin cried.

“Taemin-ah! I missed you!” they both hug each other.

“ Congratulations! Minho hyung !” Taemin says, happy for his hyung,” So who’s the lucky girl?”

Minho looks uneasy for a moment.

It was the same look his father gave him.

Then, a feminine voice calls from the staircase.

“ Honey, Could you help me with this dress?”

Taemin find that voice all too familiar.

The figure walks down and there she is the reason why Minho looks uneasy, why Taemin is closing his eyes afraid to confirm his fear.

Walking down the stairs is… Sulli in a wedding dress.

Sulli sees Taemin and is shocked but she quickly regains her composure.

Taemin looks at her. Once. Twice.

She’s beautiful.

He blinks, hoping that all of this was just his imagination.

Maybe, he had missed her too much.

But she was still there.

Taemin stands there, not knowing what to do.

“Sulli?”

 He calls out, hoping that this was all a misunderstanding and she would explain it to him.

“Yes, Taemin?”

She replies, her face drained of all expressions. It’s hard to tell what’s she’s having on her mind.

“Answer me, are you marrying Minho Hyung?” he grits his teeth slowly, just like he did two years ago. His fist is clenched up. Any moment now, he’s going to punch someone. Hyung or not.

She stands there quietly.

“Yes”

Taemin doesn’t know what to think.

He kneels in front of her, his fist has unclenched.

In that moment, Taemin has lost everything.

“Sulli? Why? Tell me why? Is it because of the moving? Please? What about our promise?”

Taemin cries.

Sulli bits her lip. She’s on the verge of tears but she’s holding it in.

“ Hearts change , Taemin. I love Minho now. It’s not your fault , Taemin.”

She pats him gently on the shoulder.

Taemin looks up at her, pleadingly.

“ There’s no more chance for us anymore is there?”

“No” She says.

“ Sulli? Please?” Taemin looks at her, his vision blurred by tears so he doesn’t see her crying.

“I’m sorry,” She says and she runs out.

Taemin chases her while in his mind he’s thinking that all of this is just a dream.

Any moment now, he’ll wake up from this nightmare.

Sulli has to get away from all of this.

She can’t see Taemin anymore, so she runs.

She finally stops.

She can’t run anymore.

She hasn’t taken her medication.

She takes another step and break into a run, Taemin is behind her so she can’t stop.

After a few minutes, she feels dizzy and her vision turns black.

Taemin finally catches up with her but right now, she’s isn’t running.

She has fainted.

Taemin forgets about everything that happened half an hour ago.

He scoops her up and run back to Minho’s house.

He knocks urgently on the door.

“ Minho! Come out!”

Minho opens the door.

He finds Sulli in Taemin’s arms.

He immediately brings Sulli in and call the ambulance.

“Is it serious?” Taemin says , frowning as he fans Sulli.

Minho looks at him.

“ Sulli hasn’t been truthful to you, Taemin.”

Minho carries her onto the ambulance.

Taemin follows his hyung onto the ambulance.

What had Sulli been untruthful to him about?

He looks at Minho for a answer but Minho is busy putting Sulli on a stretcher.

“ She’s got Myocardial” He says.

Taemin’s blood run cold.

Myocardial, the same disease that had claimed his mother.

It was definitely a dangerous sickness.

Now, everything made sense to him.

Everything, from Sulli’s lack of energy, her pale face, that fainting in Chemistry class to the sudden wedding with Minho.

All the time, she had known and now she wants him to give up on her in the least painful way as possible.

He was foolish not to notice.

As he sat on the plastic bench seat of the ambulance, he buried his face into his hands.

Minho places his hand on his shoulder.

Taemin looks up at Minho, helpless.

What should he do now?

[A/N : Yep I know this was a totally y chapter. I wasn't up to my standards. Don't know why. GAH you know what? This story might end earlier then I had expected. About 6 chapters. Maybe I shouldn't have rushed the plot. GAHHHHH]
