minji POV
i slowly opened my eyes, i've been working overtime for the past days. i finished work at midnight but i'll go to sleep at around 3 am finishing school work. i lifted my head off the pillow, and glanced at the clock. i shot up when i read 9:30 am, i'm going to be late! i ran to the bathroom and took the fastest shower in existence. i ran to school, as fast as possible. im just 2 blocks away from school...OUCH! i bumped HARD into someone causingboth of us to fall... oh its a girl...
"i'm s..s.o" i stopped as i realized who i bumped into "OMG!...(i forgot her bestfriends name)!!" i shrieked, while she nodded her head.
"WOW... minji you've gotten taller" i hugged her SO tight she groaned "...and stronger!" we both laughed
"oh my god i missed you SOOO much"
"i missed you too!" she responded
"how come you're here?" i asked still not believing myself.
"we have a break, and i convinced my parents to let me come here to visit" she said cheerfully
"you're so lucky! our break is in a month... right now we're getting ready for mid-year exams" i said then she frowned cause she just realized i have school.
"oh... it's ok... i can hang out with you after school"
"i have work after school" i said frowning. she nodded silently.
i smiled as i took out my phone and dailled the school number... the secertary answered
"_____ high school how can i help you"
"hello mrs.lee it's me Minji i'm not feeling well so i'm not coming to school today"
"AWW feel well soon, minmin" mrs.lee said.
"thank you bye"
"bye"
i closed my phone and faced ____
"i'm free till 3"
"ok let's go" she said
"lets get icescream" i said she smiled
"ok my treat" she said
"AWW thanks unnie" i said while linking our hands.
she bought us icescream and we walked by a vollyball court, we saw guys playing and screaming. suddenly i saw someone wave at me. at first i was confused, but then i realized who it is, it's Ljoe. i smiled and waved back. ____ stared at me in disbelief.
"what?" i asked innocently
"who was that?" she asked
"no-body" i said teasing her
"COME-ON who is that"
i smiled at her.
"MINJI!"
"ok...ok... his name is Ljoe, i won on him in basketball last week" i said
she giggled
"that's my minji"
"i met so many guys in the last two weeks"
"really? how?" i told her everything she laughed, my phone rang i have to goto work
"hey ____?" i asked
"yeah?"
"do u want to walk me to work?" i asked she nodded her head.
we walked silently for a while.
"___?" i said almost whisphering.
"yes?" she answered softly
"what should i do? should i tell them i know" she looked at the ground, as i felt tears gather up in my eyes.
"i don't think u need to ask such a question" she said
"what?" i asked suprised by herrespond.
"i think you know what your doing" she lifted her head to face me.
" and i'm very proud of you" tears raced down my cheeks. i covered my face with my free hand, she pushed away my hand and wiped my tear away.
"weither they know or not... they're proud of you." we hugged and cried.
"thank you... ur always there for me" we walked into the shop and mr.choi greated us.
"oh minji you start in5 min... oh is this your friend?" he asked me about ___.she smiled and bowed
"hello, mr.choi my name is ____"
"hello... would you like to help?" he asked she cheared up and we started working.
"Work? Sure!" Jihee replied. YAY! Jihee gets to work with me! Oh! Should I tell her about they guys? She would want to know everything, being my best friend! Ok
"Ok here is your uniform, you can work the cash register ok?" Jihee nodded. Jihee stationed herself by the register and I went to the side of her, where I get stuff from the display case.
"So Minji, who are the boys you met?" Jihee asked
"Where do I start? Oh well the first guy I met was some guy named niel"
"Niel? Weird name. Common in the states" Jihee said
"Thanks for that! Anyway, I was in the park right? So I was singing and then he came and sat down and told me I had a nice voice. An then he told me he was in a band. Before he could tell me, my umma called and I had to go" I told her. She nodded.
"Is he cute?" She asked
"I guess. He was a bit cute. But his lips were big" I said. Jihee tried to hold in her laughter at my statement.
"Ok whoa whoa! How many boys did you meet?" She asked. I counted on my fingers
"Uhhh..... 4" I said. Jihee's eyes widened.
"Wha~ Minji-ah your attracting so many boys!" Jihee exclaimed. I laughed and pushed her playfully.
"Ok! Tell me 'bout the next boy!" She said. I laughed as rolled my eyes
"Ok the next one is LJoe. The one we saw on our way here. Now can you decide for yourself if he was cute or not?" I asked sarcastically. Jihee put a finger to her chin, thinking if LJoe was cute or not.
"He was pretty handsome. Got the looks, and athletic skill.... I APPROVE!" She declared!
"Anyway so I was playing with Minji's friends older brothers in basketball and of course I won. So I had my hoodie on right? So I took it off and my ponytail and someone gasped. It was this cute boy I went to hang out with them. Then this giant boy insulted me and my awesome basketball skill. So e challenged me and I beat him of course. So then I went to hang out with them and then the cute boy made me do aegyo. Then it was time to leave cuz it was late. I was walking home with minam and then I... Maybe....sorta... Flipped him over my back" Jihee burst out laughing
"O-ok next boy" Jihee said laughing.
"Ok the next one is named Ricky. I met him here" I said
"Was he cute?" She asked
"Oh my gosh yes! He was sooo adorable!" I gushed. Jihee laughed. Again. *insert pout here*
"Ok so he came into the shop and said that he needed help looking for something for his cousins girlfriend. So I have him the couple necklace that came with the couple bracelets. He bought it and i gave him the bracelets but he gave one to me. I think he kept the other. Look I'm wearing it now" I said as I showed her the bracelet.
"Ok the next boy's name is Chunji" I said
"Ohh! He Sounds cute! Is he cute? TELL ME HE'S CUTE!" She cried shaking me
"Y-yes! H-he is!" I said. She relaxed and stopped shaking me
"Ok so my boss, Mrs. Kim, the mean one, told me to put on a bunny costume and pass out flyers! So I did but then this guy comes and bumps into me causing me to drop all the flyers! My head falls off-"
"YOUR HEAD FELL OFF?!?!"
"The bunny head!!! Anyway he offered to help and whenever e handed out a flyer to a girl they would be all like 'thanks oppa!' Or 'Ill come soon oppa!' Or worst 'OMO oppa your so handsome!' So I asked why so many girls know him and he says he's in a band! Just like that other guy, niel. He was going to tell me what it was called but mrs.Kim told me I had to go back to work" I said. Jihee nodded and took money from a customer and gave her her item.
"Wha~ it's cool that niel and chunji are both in bands huh? What a coincidence!" She said. I nodded and went back to work
