Chapter 8: A fairytale

 

Jiyong POV

 

My father gave me a painting of a lady, a princess well said

A map and a horse with some supplies

 

I get on the back of the horse, “Farewell father, wish me luck, hiyahh”

I swing the holder and the horse made its way

 

We went to search for father’s request

Hiyaaahhh~ “faster Gaho! Faster!”

On the road, off road, into the jungle, passed cliffs, away from mountain

Days has taken their tolls

We rested and move on

 

 

 

We arrived

I took a deep deep breath as I see an ocean of plants full of torns

“What is this Gaho?”

I can’t seem to find any sense through this

But my father’s request is yet to be fulfill

“Come on Gaho! Swing it!”

As we come a little more closer,

“BAAAAAM!”

Thunderstorm welcoming us, Gaho was shocked thus he dropped me and run away

“Gaho!!!”

“Gaho!!!”

 

He left me, “Comeback for me later Gaho”

I focus myself looking at the torns

How could I pass through this impossible?

I close my eyes as I walked to it

Ouch!

Torns hitting me here and there

Eh?

There’s something on the ground

“Oh God”

There’s full of armors of passed people who tried to go through this

“What am I doing here? Why should I be doing this?”

“It’s just a request NOT A DYING WISH LIST KWON JIYONG”

I get frustrated as I DO NOT want to die HERE!

*thump thump*

*thump thump*

Why is my heart beating?

I look at the castle passed the torns

I do not know where the hell I get all the courage

My subconscious mind just drive me to pick up all the armors

Wear it, holding a sword and a shield

Lucky me, how am I supposed to know what challenges are ahead of me

I’m not prepared at all yet look at what I’m going through

As if all is prepared for me

 

!!!

Dumbstruck!

I saw something!

I fight through all the challenges!

 

 

 

 

…

 

I… passed… through…

But I feel like going unconscious

My body failed me as I heard a thump

I..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

…

Where am I?

I looked at myself

I was wiped out

Bloods everywhere

I guess I did become unconscious

Obstacles were unimaginable

I take off my armor and walk head to the castle

 

*thump thump*

My heart don’t feel good

Wow the castle was untouched

I walk and walk around where my heart brings me

 

I saw it

No! I saw her!

I run to her!

Hold her hand

“Princess, I’m here”

 

*thump thump*

What am I on dreamland?

Or heaven?

This couldn’t be here

What an angel doing here?

She looks merely perfect

*thump thump*

 

Father told me to kiss her!

*chup*

I kissed her

 

I look around

“Nothing happen”

 

I look at her again

She was stunning, even though she is asleep

Wow, Heart! You really know who you should react to!

I was drawn into her beauty

I step closer to her

*thump thump*

I kissed her again

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She… She… She opened her eyes, “Princess are you alright?”

She smiles

Suddenly the castle become noisy full of people chats

Dead plants and flowers come alive again

She still smiling and…?

And…?

What is that look?

“Hey princess, took long for you to wake up”

I tried to seduce her but to my surprise

She was like reading my face and tracing my lips as if she is waiting for something

Like… an answer!

I want to talk to her but my head were so confused

What does she wants?

Can I just ask her?

Should I ask her?

 

Suddenly I felt some hands over my body

“Young man you did it!”

People were ecstatic! I mean many many people!

Came to me to say thank you

They carry me on their shoulder and sing a winning song

 

The princess!

I look around to find her

But she… disappears…

“Princess!”

“Princess!”

“Princess...”

 

Yatta another chappie!
