Chapter 4: Good Luck

“Ahjusshi”

The guy turned around, actually they were just 3 years apart

“hm?” the guy anwered

“Komawo~”

“hm..” then he left

From far, “Good luck” he said

Jessica heard and went into the room again

“Appa, I’ll go and watch our little sooyeon, neh? Her mother said

“Arasso omma, kiss her for me, tell her I’ll visit her when I get better”

“Neh yeobo~”

Jessica POV

Me?

Omma I wanna follow you!!!

“Omma, how are you?”

“…”

“How have you been?”

“…”

“How is soojung?”

“…”

“Well, I didn’t see her since this morning”

“…”

“You know omma, I really miss your cooking”

“I wanna watch movies with you again”

“Hold your hands while walking”

*giggling*

“and I wanna take care of both of you when you grow older”

*drip* *drip*

Oh tears not now, I’m talking to mom

“Mom?”

“How’s my wedding preparation?”

No One POV

Jessica starts sobbing hard, “Mom, how’s my wedding preparation?”

“Sica ah mianhe” she responded

We entered the room, with Jessica lying on the bed, she stares at herself

She saw Taeyeon and Yuri were there talking to me, cheering me up

They didn’t seems sad at all, except a drop of tear was released and swallowed back into their eyes

They were staying strong, for Jessica

“Sica ah” her omma calling her

“Taeyeon ah, Yuri ah, you guys can go home”

Taeyeon shook her head, “I’ll be here looking after her for today omma, you take a rest”

Yuri followed, “Today will be our girl’s night! All of us will come, omma. Today your princess is safe and sound, we’ll report to you if there’s any feedback from her”

“Alright children, today she’s all yours, I’ll just come and visit her around later, neh?”

“Neh!!!” Taeyeon and Yuri yelled, “oops, mianhe omma” Taeyeon said

Three of them giggling, “Sica ah, you see, you got great friends here, have fun tonight baby princess, mommy will come back for you” she kissed Jessica, “dad says hi, he will come visit you when he is getting better, by then you should do too”

Her mother left the room

They were still talking to Jessica, telling her stories of what happen to their life

“Yah sica, you know what happen to me and leeteuk now? He proposed me!!! Kyaaa!!!”

“Kyaaaaaaa!!!” She and yuri squealed!

Jessica sits near them listening to them,

“Sica yah, when your wedding comes! Make sure the bouquet lands on my hand!” Yuri giggle,

“Why yuri? You have taeyang aren’t you?” taeyeon asked

‘uhuh’ Jessica agree

“Of course taengoo, but he didn’t proposed me yet, I wanna get married too!” yuri gets excited

“Heheheheeee” All of them laughing.

Taeyeon and yuri kept on storytelling and gossiping with Jessica, she on the other hand also interact with them one- sided and were having fun.

‘This is my second day, I miss them like crazy already eventhough they were right here infront of me, I really need to do this, I really need to complete this mission! Eventhough it’s quite impossible’ she sighed

“Ayo GG!!!”

All of us turned around to the voice, ‘sooyoung ah, fany ah, seohyun ah~~~’

“Girl’s generation we won’t stop!” Fany chorused after sooyoung

Now all five of them laughing hard, six specifically

They were hugging each other,

“Annyeong sica! Look what I brought for you! Your favorite cucumber!!! Yaaaahhhhhh!!!” Tiffany was acting forcing a cucumber into jessica’s mouth

Jessica was making faces and run away, but her body remains still, all of them became quiet

Tiffany gasps for air, fanning her eyes, stopping her tears from rushing out

Sooyoung and seohyun kept down their head

 “Hey Guys!!!” Hyoyeon made a grand entrance with dancing, popping and moving her butts here and there

They starts to giggle, “keep the mood up, guys! We need to give strength to sica, remember? Not to up her strength instead”

“That’s why we need to partyyyyy~~~” sunny interrupts

They play ‘I got a boy’ with low volume, and all of them dancing, including Jessica

“Yeah yeah yeah”

“Yeah yeah yeah”

Seohyun suddenly looking around, “unni, I think we need to be more invisible, hyoyeon unni, lower the volume more palli”

Everyone frozen by seohyun’s word, Hyoyeon did  it, and seohyun continue dancing alone,

She looked around and, “What are unnies doing? Let’s dance!!! No talk please, I’m scared our neighbor room might get distracted”

All of them giggling and kept on partying

“Yuri ah, yoona eodi? (where’s yoona?)” sunny asked

Jessica was longing to ask that too

“She said she’ll be a little late”

They were all settled down, they start eating and gossiping.

“Sica, are you here?” taeyeon breaks the happiness suddenly

Everybody gets serious suddenly

“I want to say sorry” Jessica listens to taeyeon precisely, sitting on herself, ‘why?’

“You know last time we had a little argument, I didn’t accept your apology right away because, I think you should reflect yourself” Taeyeon holds Jessica’s hand, “and you know what, I’m just being stupid and jealous, I didn’t meant it, I was hurt and still immature. I’m really sorry for ignoring you and your efforts. I… I miss you, sica. Please come back to us, there’s an empty space here for you” “Palli wake up”

‘kwenchana taengoo, komawo~”

Everybody was still silent.

“My turn” Tiffany said, she held Jessica’s hand, “Sica ah, mianhe! I’m sorry we fought over minor things, it was fun though, I’m sorry if I hurt you, I’m sorry I stole your pink ” she giggled as well as others, “I’m sorry to steal Taecyeon away from you, I’m sorry I failed as a friend to you” Tears filled her lungs and hearts, “I’m sorry I lied to you, I’m sorry if I don’t listen to you, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry for things I’ve done and I already forgive you at things were’nt meant to happen” “Mianhe sica” “Palli wake up”

‘kwenchana fany ah~ arasso, nadu’

“May I?” Seohyun said, she gently wipe away stranded of hairs from Jessica’s face, and held her hands, “Unni, I know you were here, I can feel you” ‘Neh seohyun ah, I’m here’ “Palli come back to us, I miss your touch and laughter unni, your bright funny faces over this empty looking blank facial you have, unni, I’m sorry if I ever hurt you, or being complete perfectionist eventhough you always asked me to loosen up” “Unni, where ever you are, you always stay in our heart, if you come back to us, I won’t force you to read those motivation books no more, just… come back please”

“Unni” seohyun looks directly at Jessica’s eyes (soul), tears were filled in both eyes
