Woohyun’s POV~

          “Yes, Sunggyu said yes.” Dongwoo answered my question.

          I smile bitterly. Who wouldn’t say no, if someone confesses so romantically.

          “They became the most popular and favorite couple in our Music Academy. I never saw them fighting, only small arguments. But, after two years passed, we were shocked by Sunggyu’s words.”

          “What did Sunggyu said, Dongwoo-seongsaenim?”

          “Sunggyu said that he had heart cancer and couldn’t live for a long time. In short, he would die soon. Just didn’t know when.”

          I feel my heart drop. Sunggyu had heart cancer?

          “Sunggyu couldn’t attend lessons for his last year. He spent his last year only in hospital’s bed.”

          “Did Myungsoo abandon him?” I asked in curious.

          Dongwoo-Seongsaenim stares at me.”No, Myungsoo didn’t. In fact, Myungsoo always be there for Sunggyu, before and after his schedules in Academy. He cheered Sunggyu up, told jokes to Sunggyu.”

          “I thought he would leave Sunggyu…” I mumbled, but Dongwoo-seongsaenim can hear.

          “Not only you. All of the students were expected Myungsoo to leave Sunggyu and even though we were best friend, I doubted Myungsoo’s loyal to Sunggyu too. But, he really was loyal. He never looked at another guys or girls.”

          “Dongwoo-seongsaenim…”

          “Ne, Woohyun-ah?”

          I look at my laps and play with my fingers. But, I encourage myself to ask.”Is Sunggyu survived from the cancer?”

          Silence.

          I quickly look at Dongwoo-seongsaenim and gasp. Dongwoo-seongsaenim’s eyes are full of tears.

          “S…seongsaenim…?” I panicked and suddenly…

A sound of front door unlocked is heard and I look back to see someone appears. It’s a man.

“Dongwoo-hyung!” he runs to Dongwoo-seongsaenim and quickly pats his back. He glares at me.”Who are you? What are you doing in my house and the most importantly, why did Dongwoo-hyung crying?”

“I…I…” I shuttered, don’t know what to answer since Dongwoo-seongsaenim suddenly cried. I only asked him did Sunggyu died.

My eyes widened when I realize what did I asked him.

“I’m okay, Hoya…” Dongwoo-seongsaenim finally said while wiping his tears with his back hand.”He just asked whether Sunggyu survived or not from the heart cancer…”

I can see the so-called Hoya’s eyes widened and mouth opened. He looks at me and points his finger to me.”How dare you to ask about that!” he shouted.

“I…I just…”

“He died, okay? Sunggyu had died!!” Hoya shouted.”Are you satisfied?”

My heart drops even more. Sunggyu…had died?

“Now…” Hoya holds my shoulder and makes me stand up.”…please get out from our house…!” then, he pushes me.

I take a glance toward Dongwoo-seongsaenim.”I…I’m sorry, Dongwoo-seongsaenim. I won’t ask ever again…” and I bow.

I quickly walk to the front door and exit Dongwoo-seongsaenim’s house.

          While I’m walking home, I can’t help my mind to thinking about Sunggyu based of Dongwoo-seongsaenim’s story.

          If Sunggyu was a new student 20 years ago, then who was that I kept talking with?

          I take my phone from my pocket and dial my father.

          “Hello, Woohyun-ah? What’s up?”

          “Dad, I want to ask something. Do you know where is Sung… Kim Sunggyu’s house?”

          Silence for a while, then…

          “His house is…”

          So here I am, standing in front of Sunggyu’s house.

          I dare myself to press the bell and a minute later, the door opened and a man appears behind of it.

          “Er…hello…” I said.

          “Who did you want to meet?”

          “Is this Kim Sunggyu’s house?”

          “Why?”

          “I… I heard that he was the best in Piano 20 years ago, so I came to his house…”

          He looks at me with curious eyes and said.”He is not here. Just go home, kid.”

          “But, mister, I really want to know about him more!!”

          He sighs and lets me enter his house.

          “I’m Sungjong, Sunggyu hyung’s little brother. What do you want to know about Sunggyu-hyung? Faster, okay? Because I still have some things to do.”

          “Is... is Sunggyu-hyung really died 20 years ago?”

          “Yes, he did. Do you want to check his room?”

          “I can?”

          “Yeah. Follow me.” He walks to upstairs and I follow.”Here is his room. I just kept it like before. Just don’t mess it, okay? I will go now.” Then, he leaves me.

          I open the room’s door and enter it. It’s so tidy and clean. I walk toward Sunggyu’s desk and look his books. I stop at the book which titled “My Songs”. When I just want to turn the page, there is a voice…
