Woohyun’s POV~

          I go to school with red eyes. Damn, I can’t sleep well yesterday. The question keeps popping in my head.

          “Woohyun-ah, you look tires. Stay up late yesterday?”

          “Aniyo, Dongwoo seongsaenim. Just something in my mind that made me can’t sleep.”

          “Okay, then. Do you have my lesson today?”

          I shake my head and suddenly something pops up in my head.

          “Dongwoo seongsaenim!” I shouted.

          He jumps a little.”N…ne?”

          “How old are you now?” I asked in happy voice.

          “40 years old. Wae?”

          Just like what I thought. But, Dongwoo seongsaenim’s face doesn’t look like 40, though...

          “You sure you are 40 years old, Seongsaenim?”

         “Of course. Yah, do you think I already look old? You sure have guts, Woohyun-ah. Want me to give you ‘E’ for your paper?”

           I quickly shake my head.”You look like 30, Dongwoo-seongsaenim.”

          “Why, thank you. I will give you ‘C’ for your paper.” He smiled.”No more questions, right? I will go now.” He turns around.

          “Seongsaenim, do you know Kim Sunggyu?” I quickly asked.

          He turns to look at me with eyes widened.”Why do you want to know and how did you know him?”

          “A…Appa gave me the videos of him playing piano. Appa said he is the best in playing piano 20 years ago. So, I want to know more about him. Besides I take major in piano too. Maybe, Dongwoo seongsaenim has his ” I answered.”Since Seongsaenim is 40, then seongsaenim must have been in this academy 20 years ago too, right?”

          “You have the point. So, what do you want to know?”

          “Kim Sunggyu’s history!”

          “Why do you so eager?” He eyed me.

 I just sheepishly smile.”Just wanna know.”

“Come to my house tomorrow after you done your schedule. I don’t teach tomorrow.”

“Can’t you tell me today, Seongsaenim?”

“Yah, you must be patient. If not, I won’t tell you.” That makes me shut my mouth.”I will go to class now. You should go to your class now.” Then he leaves me.

I pout and suddenly I heard piano’s key again, it’s from the old building again. This time, I decide to go check. When I arrive in front of the old building, the sound already ended. I open the door and walk to the room where I met Sunggyu for the first time.

I slowly open the door and see Sunggyu sitting in front of the piano.

“Sunggyu-ya…”

He raises his head and smile weakly.”Hey.”

I walk toward his seat.”You look pale.” I commented and sit beside him. Fortunately, the seat is wide and long enough. But, Sunggyu looks like loss weight too.

“I’m okay. Just a little sick.”

“I never see you after our encounter with Myungsoo. Are you and that guy already okay?”

He bitterly smiles.”Just have a small fight. But, after that, we are okay.”

I nod with my mouth makes an ‘o’ word.

“Do you always play piano in this old building?”

He nods and touches the piano’s keys.”Ne. I really like playing piano in here.”

“Can you play for me?” I blurted and he looks at me for a while, then he nods.

“Sure. But, don’t laugh at me.”

You’re a pro, how could I laugh at you?

Sunggyu sighs and his fingers slowly yet gracefully press the piano keys. The music is unfamiliar yet beautiful and sad. I close my eyes, trying to understand the meaning of the music.

When he finally presses the last note, I open my eyes and see that he is looking at me with sad eyes and bitter smile on his face.

“The song is beautiful yet sad. I never hear this song before. Did you make it?” I said.

“I made it…”

“You are awesome, Sunggyu-ya.” I complimented.”Can you play piano again for me next time, Sunggyu-ya?” I said with a smile.

“There will be no next time again, Woohyun-ah.” Sunggyu said.”I will never come here again. So, you can forget about me.”

“W…wae?! Sunggyu-ya, wae?!” I shouted.

Sunggyu stands up and yells.“Don’t ask, okay? I will not come here ever again!” and he runs.

“Sunggyu-yah!!!” I shout and stand up.

What the heck was that?
