"I hate you!" she shrieked, running out of the room.

The male, stunned, stayed frozen in place. No one had ever dared to oppose him like that.

Never in his whole life had he known what it meant to be heartbroken.

But he could feel an aching pain inside of his heart.

He had felt a strong love for her, although he knew she would never return his heartfelt feelings.

"Don't go away..." he sobbed, reaching out to her retreating figure.

He watched helplessly as she retreated to the arms of his enemy.

He cried out her name, running towards her and the boy beside her. They just seemed to get farther and farther as he continued to run.

Finally, he collapsed onto the ground and broke down, cursing his bad luck.

He woke with a start, shooting straight up. He was drenched in sweat and breathing heavily.

He sighed in relief. It was only a dream.
