Amina joined AKB with the 4th Generation Auditions in 2007. this was the first Audition after the 3 Teams were formed (if you didn't know, the teans were originally; Team A = AKB's 1st Gen, Team K = 2nd Gen and Team B = 3rd Gen) AKB was an unknown group at that time, having 95% of male wota fanbase and with single sales that didn't surpass 30k. 

one of AKB's "rules" is that being in AKB is supposed to be "a way for someone to help making their dreams come true". this means that the girls joining the group aren't supposued to stay forever, and just stay in AKB long enough to get their own fanbase and then aim to make their dreams come true. (just like what School is suppoused to be, this is yet another School thing AKB is based about)

with Amina, this was different.  
she didn't want to be in AKB because she wanted to be a singer or an actress, Amina joined AKB because she wanted to be AKB. 
Amina was one of the few female fans AKB had at that time, one of the few that actually made their way to go and see them at the Theater filled with tons of creepy wota all by herself. 

Amina successfully made her dream of joining AKB true, and started to work in the theater as under of different girls. around that time, AKB was siiightly starting to break out of the anonymity and getting more work, so the front girls of each group started to appear less and less in the theater, giving the first Kenkyuseis a chance to appear more on stage.

Amina wanted to be noticed. so one day, without no one asking her for it, she studied all the choreographies for ALL the songs from the different Stage DVDs AKB had so far. all her effort was recognized and she eventually got to be Kojima Haruna's under in H1st, Oshima Yuko's under in H2nd andKasai Tomomi's under in K4th, among others. 


finally after 1 year of working as Kenkyusei, she was promoted to Team A and got her first own place in an Stage in A5th. 
around that time, all the other girls from her Generation as well as her kouhais (5 Gen. girls) were already officially a part of the group in the different teams just like Amina, but they were lucky enough and rapidly got Senbatsu positions. 

Kuramochi Asuka, Fujie Reina, Sashihara Rino, Miyazaki Miho, Kitahara Rie and Nito Moeno were the "pushed" girls out of the 4th and 5th Generation. but of course, that's not everyone. there are always some members that are "left out" and get "ignored" by the management. Amina was one of those girls.
